- After a long wait for x1 demand to slow enough for me to get one to review, I finally get the chance to see what all the hype is about. The X1, being based on a Mini, used to be a bad case of badge engineering, but the new “U11” model changes that!

at 12:00 mark, oh yes it IS a flip to open compartment cover, though one can't put much under that lid. They should have provided you with the MSport version so you have the paddle shifters and 'sport' transmission besides the regular drive transmission. Thanks for your take on the XLine 281--- better late than never! I still search for new vids on the x1 (I got my MSport in early April a few months ago).
btw, you shoulda deleted your expressing 'dumbass' from the video... *never* saw any reviewer comment like how you did... I will chalk it up to youth... grow better though from this --- you got it ! \uuu/
5 feet off-road? I don't even drive my new X1 on my friend's gravel driveway! I just park by the mailbox and walk up to his house. :)
as for the grille.... they are almost the same shape as the kind of glasses that elderly North Korean and Soviet leaders wore... just look them up on the internet and you'll see what I mean. :) having said that, I love my X1's grille... big, yes, but stylish enough for me. :) was almost going to get the 430i gran coupe but I can't stand those vertical elongated grille. :)
