Hey girl check your ferritin levels if they are under 70 your hair will thin and fall out. It needs to be at 70-100 for optimal hair growth. Increase iron this should help. :)

Hi as per doctors you have to use rosemary oil directly 1ml twice a day on effected area which is equalent to minoxidil 2%.iam using rosemary oil overnight and i shampoo every 3rd day and once a week.i mix evion 400mg vitamin E one capsule in carrier oil along with 10 drops of rosemary oil and take a head massage for 15 minutes from last 2months its reduces my hair fall makes feel better started seeing bit of density expecting a good results at the end of 6months.
Hi, you should also use some pre oil like castor oil or argan oil. For the best results let it sit for 2 to 4 hours. No more because its really strong. I have also really greasy hair and for me helped cantu with shea butter. Also u can use some clarifing shampoo or do double shampoo. I had so thin hair that I had bald spots so I started to care for it. At least for me it worked. I heard great is rice water. Also think about where ypu are from because using ingredients from the part where your heritage is, it can work so much better. For me also really helped the viral gisou hair oil qnd coconut oil.
Use only 3 drops to start with, increase the amount of drops you use as you feel your hair getting used to the oil. You will soon be able to comfortably oil your scalp with the right about of oil without it getting greasy for a couple of days xx
I use it twice at most three times a week. I usually just massage a couple drops of it into my scalp + hair and leave it overnight. I wash it off in the morning and i find after a light blowdry my hair is shinier and smoother. I often add a serum ontop of that if im going out to tame my ends and fly-aways, but ive seen good results so far by itself as an "overnight mask". The top of my head is hydrated now and i used to be the person who was always with a dry scalp + scratching it.
Organic castor oil is recommended by doctors (scientists), so the fact that you stop using that one to use a product with chemicals in it is kind of strange. Castor oil is going to give you the better results, if you didn't like the smell you could have just added peppermint essential oil which is also hair growth stimulating or you could have added rosemary oil which is also hair growth stimulating or you could have used lemongrass oil which will also take away that harsh smell from the castor oil. Mielle organics has a lawsuit against them for people's hair falling out. But go right ahead if you will.
I have never used this hair oil but I think taking a multivitamin for women, eating some lean protein and leafy greens on most days has helped my hair to grow. 🙏🏾❤️
I love this brand! I have an oily scalp and dry ends and but use it on my scalp and leave it in for 2-6 hours. I also use argan oil on my mids and ends, then shampoo it out. It leaves my hair smelling amazing!
I know people won’t say this but there’s no shame in rogaine. Even for us ladies, the oils are great but if you have access to a dermatologist have them take look and see what may be the issue.

I like this product but the first bottle I bought was bad and left my crown of my head sore and itchy. For someone with greasy hair I suggest hot oil treatment once a week or whenever you wash your hair. And for me since im a black woman who has natural curly hair i use this every other day without rinse and i wash my hair every 2 weeks or so
So…I put rosemary essential oil in my leave in moisturizer. Bc it’s leave in, I don’t wash it out. I read that undiluted rosemary can take your hair out. So it’s diluted bc it’s in the moisturizer. But it also said too much rosemary to your scalp can cause your hair to fall out. Everyone in these comments are saying they wash the rosemary out at least after a day. I haven’t washed my hair at all. I’m also a black woman. Is this safe?
I use this exact brand and have a very oily scalp. What I do is a put it on mostly every night before bed and then I put my hair in a silk bonnet. In the morning I wash it away with my normal shampoo routine. I have only used it for about 2 weeks so I can't speak yet on the benefit of Mielle but I can say that I have seen a noticeable difference in the way my hair looks. It is less wire-y and is soft and smooth. I'm 32, have never died my hair, and I'd so I'm about 15% gray. I think this has helped to give life back to my very very damaged and neglected gray hair.
I use it after a shower when my hair is still wet. 3-6 drops on my scalp. 1-2 at the top where my part is and 1-2 on each side of my head. Then 2 drops on the ends on each side. You don’t need a lot, it will make your hair too greasy. I rub it in with my finger tips and comb it through my hair. Then braid and sleep.
I prefer when hair products dont have a "good smell" its gets my brain thinking that the product is trying to compensate for something. Personally, try to do overnight. It works miracles
I have used this oil. I applied it every morning, massaging it in and then styling. I saw new growth within 3-4 weeks. I was so excited. Unfortunately,I am allergic to biotin and I broke out on my cheeks and nose. Had to discontinue using it. It worked for me
I do 30 mins before morning shampoo and then wait a few days do 1 hr night sit and then wash. Do it every 3 days and use nizoral every few days between it will help with oily scalp.
I got a oiling scalp, I used the same oil. I tend to put it on before bed & When I get up in the morning. I been told for this hair oil to work it's an everyday oil for it promote hair growth
For oily scalps, you might be better off using rosemary water. You can make it at home and funnel it into a spray bottle to then spray it on your scalp and massage. Since it would be water you can leave it overnight and then shower the next day. Hope it helps! Take care! ❤
Use a WET brush. I put about 5 drops of rosemary oil into my Oribe gold just shampoo, emulsify and let it sit for a good few minutes before I shampoo again following up with its respective conditioner.
I wasn't able to use the Mielle product. I started developing scalp sores and scalp issues. I use Moroccanoil pre-cleansing dry scalp treatment and have seen a major improvement. My hair is thickening back up again just from improving my scalp health. Moroccanoil also has an oily scalp treatment formula.
I used that’s ever week!! After I started taking care of my naturally curly hair, I got this and in a year my hair went from color bone length to almost my hip ❤❤❤
I just started using this and read that you may need to wash your hair (maybe twice) with a clarifying shampoo. I use it 2xweek and leave it on for 30 minutes. Looking forward to your follow up. 😊
Girl… you can make your own oil with castor or coconut oil and put the herbs in it yourself, and you can massage it in with your hands that scrubber is to cleanse the scalp… secondly, if you are using hot water stop, check you body see if internally you’re ok including hormones and deficiencies cause that can affect you. Lower carbs, have more nutrient dense foods and sleep and excercise. If you have an oily scalp use clarifying shampoos before adding any more oils and other things to them. And visit a dermatologist just to make sure you don’t have alopecia or anything affecting your scalp. You can also do herbal rinses too.
Try 1/2 cup organic, hexane-free castor oil, 1/2 cup organic unrefined cold compressed coconut oil, 10 drops rosemary oil. Massage into scalp, leave overnight, thoroughly wash out next day. It may take up to 3 washes.
I’ve just started using it, probably 2-3 weeks now. I leave it for an hour and then hop in the shower. I put some on my ends too, they say not to, but it really hasn’t done anything bad. Has actually helped with split ends.
@@_elliviaI’m not sure if there’s any specific hair types that isn’t suitable for rosemary hair oil. But I do know that it works for majority of hair types. Straight hair included, I have straight hair and I’ve been using it. I think it just depends on how strong the oil is. Just a heads up, only ever use diluted rosemary hair oil, never straight up rosemary oil. Carrier oils are extra oils mixed in with rosemary oil so it’ll lighten it up. Since rosemary oil by itself is too strong for our hair n scalp, it could be damaging rather than strengthening. But most rosemary hair oils brands are already diluted, still do pay attention. There’s also rosemary water which is a different thing(lighter version where u spray it on ur hair instead, no carrier oil needed) For the use of rosemary hair oil, put it on ur scalp for 1-2hrs before the hair wash ( time is flexible..some ppl leave it on longer but depends on how strong ur hair is) If u have hair shedding it’s better to massage the oil onto ur scalp gently with ur fingers rather than a scalp massager which could tug on ur hair n cause more fallout. Massage ur scalp for 2-3 minutes after putting the hair oil. After all is done leave it In for an hour or more Then just wash ur hair how you normally would n that’s it. Also it depends on person to person but usually you’d see results in 2-3 months but more visible results in 4-6 months.
How are you liking the rosemary mint oil? I’m literally trying it for the first time right now. Going to leave it for 2 hours and wash it out. Would love to see an update from you on progress 😘

I use this, and so far so good. My hair feels thicker and not falling out any more. Only leave on for about 20 min . I do this 3x a week. I use my finger tips to massage in. Good luck.
I mix both castor oil and rosemary oil. One tablespoon of castor oil, one tablespoon of coconut oil and seven drops of rosemary oil. Massage the scalp and let it sit for 30 min.
Eat less spicy and less oily food... do not drink tea or coffee try to eat only fruits for breakfast and do hot oil message 2 times a week ... i would suggest coconut oil (Vatika works for me).. leave overnight and double cleanse with shampoo in the morning ....
I've never used Rosemary so I can't say anything about it.But if you have doubts about castor oil, you should definitely try it. I tried it for my hair and a lot of baby hair grew on my bald spots and they grew long in a short time.
Try a Rosemary hydrosol. It’s distilled water so you get the benefits of rosemary but there is no oil. With oily hair you can use it everyday. It smells lighter and more refreshing not so medicinal 🤷🏾♀️.
Been using it for a month now , my hair seems shiner and it helped a little with breakage from previous bleaching and dying since I had pink hair . I’m back to my natural black hair so I think it works however I’m not expecting to see any dramatic results until after the second or third month since that’s when most girls see the difference ! I’m mostly just looking to stop breakage and help new root growth , my hair is passing my boobs so I’m happy it works ❤ I also recommend taking some vitamins if I want to speed up the hair growth process I found that taking fish oil and a multi vitamin with the d3+k2 works really well . I also started taking turmeric capsules and Iron 65mg . Amazing results y’all definitely recommend! Walgreens is also having the buy one get one free on vitamins ❤so I stock up !! 😊
My hair used to oily like yours until I was in my 20s. Than I stopped washing my hair with so much shampoo and I only wash it 2 times a week. I ditched commercial shampoo and use an Amish made all body shampoo bar instead. I massage my scalp when I wash it and only use a tiny amount of shampoo only on my scalp. It has worked for me and I don't have bald spots anymore. I also only lightly condition with the mielle leave in conditioner.
I have the same problem my hair are so tiny that it make it look so oily.. I just started it like you but everyone is saying you have to leave it in so what im doing is i apply it the day before my shampoo day so i leave it overnight and wash the next day because i definitely can't go work like this my head look really nasty lol. Love this hair products, I usually leave it on overnight sometimes, or you can keep it on for longer than 30 minutes, but it depends on your day, also add it in your shampoo
Do not let me repeat this DO NOT leave it overnight!! Leave it for an hour at the most. Wash it rinse repeat the wash and rinse during the wash use the massager gently by pressing it to the scalp. Use a nice hair mask leave it in for maybe 5 to 10 minutes rinse it then use the conditioner and rinse it off. T-shirt dry your hair gently if you have use a good leave in conditioner (I know looks like a lot of products but that the process) let it dry like 80% air dry or a low heat setting hairdryer. Use a hair oil for mid to ends of your hair. Don’t trim it more than 2 a year. If you want hair growth also include a micro needle roller for your scalp (it will make new hair grow better ready). Love your self with confidence and tell yourself you love you in the mirror every day. Give yourself time to grow.
If you want to grow your hair even faster put coconut oil and olive oil or castor oil it makes your hair strong snd Rosemary Oli help damage hair this may help you
I also recommend the brand Bask and Lather, they use so many scalp stimulating ingredients and have many before and after pictures of people with hair loss or thinning hair growing back within months. Definitely look it up and give it a try!
@CrystalGutierrez-vo9ot You are 100% Correct. Hair dresser and skin therapist here 😁The original formula tends to be way too heavy for the majority of straight hair textures and people with oily scalps. The original formula was created for people with much thicker hair patterns and those who tend to have drier scalps. However, Mielle created a “light” formula for people who wanted to try their popular hair oil and it may or may not assist with hair growth and retention when added to a hair growth routine 🎉 Good luck ladies!!

Apply have a dropper in 1 section 3.Massage your scalp for atleast 5 mins Warning ⚠️: Don’t massage your scalp if you have hair loss!!! Edit: leave it in for a minimum of 30 mins or more

It works I was having balding issues and I tried using rosemary oil, I don't really use mielle but I have tried it and it doesn't make a big difference if u use different rosemary oil brands. But anyway I use it by apliying 12-15 drops all over my scalp and then I use the scalps massager and massage it in fo about 5-10 minutes then I oil with a light weight oil my mods and ends, I put my hair in a protective hairstyle (for example in a claw clip) and I let it sit for about 3-5 hours while I do something productive. After u always should shampoo 2 so Ur hair pores don't get blocked. I really found ussefull this hair routine I hope u found this useful❤❤❤❤
I'm not bald yet but I'm 42 and so if you start early than you get best results. So, I use this Mielle to sit in my hair in the day (1ml). I only apply it to the front on my hair line. Then at night I put minoxidil on. Minoxidil dries fast as a foam. Get Foam!❤ I just started this regime and it should take 3-6 months for visual results. ❤
I use this product to combat male pattern baldness, mainly because my scalp gets inflamed when I apply Minoxidil foam. Each morning, I apply 5 or so drops of Rosemary oil to the thinning areas and leave the product on my scalp (no rinsing) until the following day, when I shampoo it out and apply a fresh dose. I’ve only been doing this for 5 weeks and my hair is noticeably thicker on top. I need to add that I’m also taking Finasteride orally.

As someone with an oily scalp herself. I split my hair in 4 and put 2 drops each than i massage my scalp with the small amount of oil. And do this daily because of how little i use and to prevent my hair from getting greasy. Hope that this helped.
I have an oily scalp like yours. Tell me what are the results??
How is it going for you?
I have very greasy hair, I personally mix it with some other oils like lavender, sweet almond, castor and argan oil and I have an oil applier which makes it very easy ! I leave it on for 2-3 hours and then I used a CLARIFYING shampoo to make sure there’s no oil left behind! Then I let my hair air dry without brushing it until it’s at least 50% dry. My hair is SOOO soft
Hey girl check your ferritin levels if they are under 70 your hair will thin and fall out. It needs to be at 70-100 for optimal hair growth. Increase iron this should help. :)
Please check your vitamin d levels because this is first cause of hair falling
Both of you ladies are correct! Currently correcting my levels as both were so low I ended up in the hospital and unable to leave until I allowed them to do a blood transfusion.
Tsh levels - hypothyroidism causes hair to thin also
Ya my feritinin was 7 and i faced a severe hair fall..i took suppliment now its 55 still hair fall issue is there i ll take more suppliment and diet and get the score above 70😊
@@neelam2804 try doing one iron infusion or two that will get you over and your hair will stop falling. The. Continue with iron supplements. I had to do 2 iron infusions . When levels are that low you are going to need at least one infusion.
It’s a shoddy study so not the best to reference

Hi, you should also use some pre oil like castor oil or argan oil. For the best results let it sit for 2 to 4 hours. No more because its really strong. I have also really greasy hair and for me helped cantu with shea butter. Also u can use some clarifing shampoo or do double shampoo. I had so thin hair that I had bald spots so I started to care for it. At least for me it worked. I heard great is rice water. Also think about where ypu are from because using ingredients from the part where your heritage is, it can work so much better. For me also really helped the viral gisou hair oil qnd coconut oil.
How many days a week?
Yes I seen that
I have never used this hair oil but I think taking a multivitamin for women, eating some lean protein and leafy greens on most days has helped my hair to grow. 🙏🏾❤️
I been using this it makes my hair grow and look so soft
Definitely recommended❤
How many times weekly pls?
@@sissy9802 2 times a week
@@sissy9802 1s a week
Put it on overnight then wash out in the morning. Also look into your diet. Start eating clean and try green juicing.
This oil is the best!!
I just started using it, it's been a couple of weeks and I see peach fuzz! I'm excited! I let it stay on! I bought the shampoo and conditioner! I love it! I just heard of it!
how is it going now?
How long u leave the product in your hair for?????
I use to have severe hair loss. My hair loss was due to various deficiencies. Have you checked your Ferritin, hemo, vitamin d and b12 levels? If you have a deficiency it doesn't matter what you do externally. You have to nourish hair from within.
What should be the optimum level for all these plz tell dear plz reply
@@neelam2804 ferritin is considered within normal range 30ng. Hemo 12 and above. Vitamin D 30 and above and Vitamin B12 450 and above. I hope this helps 🙏🏽
not if your follicles are clogged
I mix my rosemary oil along with coconut oil. I use it twice a week and the results are super good. I am not sure if you can use Rosemary oil just by itself.
I like this product but the first bottle I bought was bad and left my crown of my head sore and itchy. For someone with greasy hair I suggest hot oil treatment once a week or whenever you wash your hair. And for me since im a black woman who has natural curly hair i use this every other day without rinse and i wash my hair every 2 weeks or so
Do you know how i should use if i have braids
Girrrl, you betta look at all of the Mielle hair loss claims!!!
Are they claiming it got worse or better?
How many time you use it during the week?
How may time ypu put in your head?
Are you washe your hair after using this oil?
better to use rosemary WATER overnight and its easy to make too 😍❤️☺️
Can i use this type of rosemarry without dilution ? Direct on scalp?
Yes, because it's already mixed
I prefer when hair products dont have a "good smell" its gets my brain thinking that the product is trying to compensate for something.
Personally, try to do overnight. It works miracles
I love it. I use it morning and night. It's not greasy.
I mix it with jojoba oil. The mint in it irritates my scalp a lot. It does work, though.
Take care! ❤
Your hair is beautiful!❤ I hope your hair becomes what you want it to be❤
Do you need to add a carrier oil for this product?
Use a WET brush.
I put about 5 drops of rosemary oil into my Oribe gold just shampoo, emulsify and let it sit for a good few minutes before I shampoo again following up with its respective conditioner.
How long are you supposed to leave it in because I’ve heard it’s not good to leave it in for too long??
I wasn't able to use the Mielle product. I started developing scalp sores and scalp issues. I use Moroccanoil pre-cleansing dry scalp treatment and have seen a major improvement. My hair is thickening back up again just from improving my scalp health. Moroccanoil also has an oily scalp treatment formula.
This one works excellent for me. Actually grows my hair and keep it moist
¿Por favor cuánto tiempo? Deja el aceite en el cabello.🙏🏼🙏🏼😭
I used that’s ever week!! After I started taking care of my naturally curly hair, I got this and in a year my hair went from color bone length to almost my hip ❤❤❤
How do you use it?
I actually use it after shower is it wrong to do so?
You should try Wild Hair Growth it's natural oils and genital, you can even use it on your eyelashes 😊!!!
I just started using this and read that you may need to wash your hair (maybe twice) with a clarifying shampoo. I use it 2xweek and leave it on for 30 minutes. Looking forward to your follow up. 😊
There is also the mielle rosmary LIGHT version of this!!! I am about to order it❤
You can mix which dilutes castor oil and rosemary oil together and leave it in at least an hour before washing
Who used it?
Does the hair get long?
It's very good. But you need to leave it in. It takes time for you to see results. Goodluck
Does the hair get long?
How long to leave it in?overnight?
@jimmymurphy160 this oil is good. Massage you scalp and leave it. Don't wash it out. It will not harm your hair
I’ve just started using it, probably 2-3 weeks now. I leave it for an hour and then hop in the shower. I put some on my ends too, they say not to, but it really hasn’t done anything bad. Has actually helped with split ends.
I use it! I apply it before I shower and wait about 1 hour or so and then rinse it out!
I just TODAY got this oil at Walmart & excited to use it! Thank you! Please keep us updated on your growth!
what type of hair do you have because im developing a few bald spots and i have straight hair! i wanna know if it works on my hair type?
Dilute it with castor or jojoba oil first
@@_elliviaI’m not sure if there’s any specific hair types that isn’t suitable for rosemary hair oil.
There’s also rosemary water which is a different thing(lighter version where u spray it on ur hair instead, no carrier oil needed)
For the use of rosemary hair oil,
put it on ur scalp for 1-2hrs before the hair wash
( time is flexible..some ppl leave it on longer but depends on how strong ur hair is)
If u have hair shedding it’s better to massage the oil onto ur scalp gently with ur fingers rather than a scalp massager which could tug on ur hair n cause more fallout.
Massage ur scalp for 2-3 minutes after putting the hair oil.
After all is done leave it In for an hour or more
Then just wash ur hair how you normally would n that’s it. Also it depends on person to person but usually you’d see results in 2-3 months but more visible results in 4-6 months.
Does the hair get long?
@@ayarahila5431 yes ..I’ve been using it for over a month now and for me I’ve seen visible results, my baby hair grew longer than before
I'm trying batana oil I love the way it smells. Smells like coffee ☕
How are you liking the rosemary mint oil? I’m literally trying it for the first time right now. Going to leave it for 2 hours and wash it out. Would love to see an update from you on progress 😘
How’s it going so far , have you seen a difference?
Give us your opinion
Hello ladies! I’ve loved it. It makes my scalp feel so healthy and it’s definitely shown growth. I’ve done it for 30 minutes and a couple hours, either way, it doesn’t irritate my very sensitive scalp! Loving it
What is your routine for your skin.its looks very good
I use this, and so far so good.
Doctors recommend using oils on the scalp for 2 hours with warm blanket.❤
Eat less spicy and less oily food... do not drink tea or coffee try to eat only fruits for breakfast and do hot oil message 2 times a week ... i would suggest coconut oil (Vatika works for me).. leave overnight and double cleanse with shampoo in the morning ....
I've never used Rosemary so I can't say anything about it.But if you have doubts about castor oil, you should definitely try it. I tried it for my hair and a lot of baby hair grew on my bald spots and they grew long in a short time.
Hi😃..I would suggest maybe applying 2x ....or 3 xs a week...(minimal amount)👍
Can i use it daily?? Because google recommended that🙄
Try a Rosemary hydrosol.
Try using it 10 minutes a day for a week and please show the before and after thx😊
I have the same problem my hair are so tiny that it make it look so oily.. I just started it like you but everyone is saying you have to leave it in so what im doing is i apply it the day before my shampoo day so i leave it overnight and wash the next day because i definitely can't go work like this my head look really nasty lol. Wish you the best with your journey!
I have the same problem and this is Exactly what I do as well and it works amazing!!
Please suggest me which coconut oil goes well to mix up with rosemary
Love this hair products, I usually leave it on overnight sometimes, or you can keep it on for longer than 30 minutes, but it depends on your day, also add it in your shampoo
The Rosemary mint oil is good and I try it once a day
Do not let me repeat this DO NOT leave it overnight!!
Definitely look it up and give it a try!
since u have an oily scalp i would say apply the oil massage it and leave it at least for 3-4 hours.
I’m late but mix it with another oil! It can damage your scalp by itself. A carrier oil like castor oil or grape seed oil. Just don’t use it alone.
I’ve been using this hair oil for the past few weeks and the results were amazing so this is how I used it:
1. Part your hair into 4 sections
2. Apply have a dropper in 1 section
3.Massage your scalp for atleast 5 mins
Warning ⚠️: Don’t massage your scalp if you have hair loss!!!
Edit: leave it in for a minimum of 30 mins or more
This oil is good i use it,
id recommend that you use on day day your home and let it sit longer. or apply it over night and wash the hair the next morning
I do not wash it. How often are you washing your hair: shampoo can do damage, a fine a cold wash shampoo less.
are you greying/white by any chance? your roots look it, not necessarily thinning out
No greys plz don’t jinx me 😩😅
I use a different “Brand”.
Modal Care.
Castor. Argan, green coffee and Rosemary oil.
Had very thin post menopause hair. Now thick and shiny. Must use regularly though.
Hi Tracey I literally have the same problem as you please update us on how the process has been for you and how consistent you’ve been on your journey! 💖🤞🏼
You can go for rosemary water spray..
30 mins before showering is ideal!!!
There are water base products you can use and make at home also used flax seed gel instead of oils
