I often think about the phrase “The road less traveled,” and this is the reason I started my channel. I’ve never seen a diamond painting channel that focuses on the positive aspects of a disability. I personally believe that my ability is stronger than my disability. That’s why I chose this phrase for my logo. I’ve never given in to my disability, and I’m not about to start now. I’ve had people say things about me my entire life, but I never said anything to them. I decided to just prove everybody wrong about whatever doubts they had about me. I’ll always stand up for myself if I have to, but I’ll always take the high road when I can! Thank you guys for hosting such an awesome event! You’re doing a fantabulous job! ❤
been trying to get more done on my painting even if it is a stretch for the event with poppies along the pathway and the green of the bushes. Between you, Ditzy, and Paul the road along the way through the event has been allot more fun than trying to travel it alone. Now that school is back in session, during the week Ranger and I hit the road at 4:45 am for his morning walk. 😳 So I live for the weekends when I don’t have to get up so early! When I first started diamond painting there were so many that I just had to throw them away because they were blobs of indecipherable art, and to see what it’s come to now is just impressive. Happy birthday to your kiddos! Hope you survive the weekend. Talking about road trips, my dad is the king of the “side trips” or “ scenic routes”. One memorable one was when I was 5 month pregnant driving through Arizona on the way to California, and this road had NO WHERE to stop. I needed to pee. He was saying he’d pull over, but there were signs everywhere saying not to stop. It was by a missile range. Then we needed to stop for the night. We found a motel in Gila Bend. To put it mildly, I think the Bates motel is so much less scary than this place!! Yep. Road trips are what memories are made of. Lol

My 3-year-old has a birthday next month and this is the first birthday where she understands that she will get presents, cake, and a day just about her. It’s amazing how a child loves that one special day but down the road, it eventually becomes just another day

Diamond painting is like the yellow brick road: you'll start without knowing where you are going. However, along the way, you'll meet fantastic people and become friends with them. Yes, we do run into problems along the way but, we all help each other out so we can reach our end goal of true happiness.
Ahhh…road trips! I remember how we used to pull out the folding maps, or RandMcNally, use a yellow highlighter to mark our route and then we’d be off…following our yellow brick road! Fun times.

Almost every day, one of my neighbors gives his little grandson a ride on his riding lawnmower. I always smile as I watch them pass by on the road in front of my house. I definitely want to be a "fun" grandparent some day.
Happy birthday to your kids! My oldest is having her birthday in less than a month, and we will be spending it at the Wizard of Oz theme park! I'm so excited. You walk down the yellow brick road and meet all the characters. It's in North Carolina, so it will also be the first time my Floridian husband and children see what a mountain is. It should be a pretty awesome adventure for our family.

Since Dad passed away five years ago next month, it has been a road that mom and I haven’t experienced but diamond painting community has really help me a lot. I am also working on something with the diamond painting community. So excited for this. Time will tell what road to travel.

Here in Belgium, school's only starting in September. My 4 year old is learning to ride his bike so we're on the road daily to practice. Let's hope he's ready by the time school starts.

One of my favorite memories I have is with my Aunt Terri. We had a few adult beverages and walking the downtown area and the roads were brick. We wanted to paint the road yellow. LOL.

Getting into the habit of exercise is so hard! When I’m in it I get to the point where I need it and love it. But once I lose that hair it’s sooo hard to get back into it. It’s a roller coaster for me. Way to go with using the Pelaton! I’ve heard they are awesome

Diamond Painting is a journey. I’ve learned that I prefer circles to squares but maybe down the road, that will change. However, I can’t resist some of the square paintings.
Hopefully not too late, it’s been a tough week with my back pain. ✨I love your energy and kindness. I haven’t been traveling much, but since a young child I always would get carsick when on a journey / road. Ironically I never get sick when driving. Maybe bc I can anticipate the turns. ✨I’ve used plethora of tricks to not get car sick on the road, whether it be bringing a lemon with me in a bag and scratching and sniffing, sea bands on the wrists, and ginger candies.
I hope Lu's birthday was fun and that her upcoming party is, too. Happy Birthday to both your August babies. I fell off the workout wagon a couple months ago and am trying to get back to it. I got a walking pad for my bday and June but we still haven't gotten unboxed. LOL. I love walking outside on our dirt road but it's been too hot and the walking pad will be easier for my mom, too.
I'm with Nate. I still get an oreo ice cream cake for my birthday. 😉 Unfortunately, I have to go quite a bit up the road to a place that has them. The joys of living in the middle of nowhere. LOL!
Hello Shay x wow watching this Friday evening in the UK so you may of already had your interview. I hope it went well 🤞. Part time work is what I feel a full time mum if needed should consider. You have a full time job at home and even if the boys are now adults (in UK 18 is the age you are allowed to drink, vote ect) you still have them living at home and look after them and lu still needs you there as she is growing fast and I can't beleive my fellow Leo's are 12 and 18 now. It sounds like lou has a wonderful weekend planned. I remember one of my birthdays my gift was a canvas bag with tweetie pie on and I was so proud. I love those memories. We would have sandwiches and jelly with ice cream lol nothing fancy. This year has been a long and hard road for us. We are praying 2025 will be so much better. This year is has been my second worst year the first was 2004/5. Well I hope you have had a good week hun and you have enjoyed having your hubbi home x love to all x x Ellie x x

Spent three hours today driving on the road home from Cape Cod. Had a lovely few days with my hubby celebrating my 50th birthday. Happy birthday to all your family members who are celebrating this month!

Since Dad passed away five years ago next month, it has been a road that mom and I haven’t experienced but diamond painting community has really help me a lot. I am also working on something with the diamond painting community. So excited for this. Time will tell what road to travel.
I really enjoy today's wip and chat. As for me, I'm doing really well. It was my birthday on August 20 and even though I was at work that day, it was quite pleasant, apart from the heat. Here in Belgium, school's only starting in September. My 4 year old is learning to ride his bike so we're on the road daily to practice. Let's hope he's ready by the time school starts.

One of my favorite memories I have is with my Aunt Terri. We had a few adult beverages and walking the downtown area and the roads were brick. We wanted to paint the road yellow. LOL.

I am doing good. I had an awesome birthday yesterday. I will talk about it in my WIP and Chat on Saturday. I have been walking around the block since I hurt the IT band in my leg. Getting into the habit of exercise is so hard! When I’m in it I get to the point where I need it and love it. But once I lose that hair it’s sooo hard to get back into it. It’s a roller coaster for me. Way to go with using the Pelaton! I’ve heard they are awesome

Diamond Painting is a journey. I’ve learned that I prefer circles to squares but maybe down the road, that will change. However, I can’t resist some of the square paintings.

✨I love your energy and kindness. I haven’t been traveling much, but since a young child I always would get carsick when on a journey / road. Ironically I never get sick when driving. Maybe bc I can anticipate the turns.
✨I’ve used plethora of tricks to not get car sick on the road, whether it be bringing a lemon with me in a bag and scratching and sniffing, sea bands on the wrists, and ginger candies.

I hope Lu's birthday was fun and that her upcoming party is, too. Happy Birthday to both your August babies. I fell off the workout wagon a couple months ago and am trying to get back to it. I got a walking pad for my bday and June but we still haven't gotten unboxed. LOL. I love walking outside on our dirt road but it's been too hot and the walking pad will be easier for my mom, too.

Hello Shay x wow watching this Friday evening in the UK so you may of already had your interview. I hope it went well 🤞. Part time work is what I feel a full time mum if needed should consider. You have a full time job at home and even if the boys are now adults (in UK 18 is the age you are allowed to drink, vote ect) you still have them living at home and look after them and lu still needs you there as she is growing fast and I can't beleive my fellow Leo's are 12 and 18 now. It sounds like lou has a wonderful weekend planned. I remember one of my birthdays my gift was a canvas bag with tweetie pie on and I was so proud. I love those memories. We would have sandwiches and jelly with ice cream lol nothing fancy.
This year has been a long and hard road for us. We are praying 2025 will be so much better. This year is has been my second worst year the first was 2004/5.
