Addicts need to want to help themselves first before any government program can help them. No want, no clean !!

I have to admit, that since the new mayor arrived, there has been a 60% improvement, from what I've seen.

Hey Cap, Septa is state and federally funded. Also our fares go back into the system. All the police hiring is done by Septa not the city.
I unfortunately need to use SEPTA to get to work. The Opioid Express (what you call the MFL) keeps getting worse. Completely unsafe, and definately #piss. Sad to hear that RoboCop is gone. Thanks for your 100 day update video!

Septa is on some BS, when I was coming up Setpa had a cleaning crew that would clean the trains and platforms after midnight. This was like the early 2000s. Now Septa just let stuff go to ish.

NYPD tried robocops too but people were flipping them over and abusing them, as well.
Rome wasn't built in a day, but so far within a short time, a significant amount of change has occurred, considering the way that area was before. And those who can afford the 300,000.00 homes are going to make sure that it continues to be rid of such degrading, dangerous drug activities. This clean-up is a benefit to those struggling with addiction whether they realize it or not.

I think the pendulum has swung too far as far as people providing for every single thing, wound care is one thing but as good and kind as these compassionate people have been, it really is enabling at a certain point.
All they are going to do is move them to another neighbourhood. These addicts are so entangled in this lifestyle and the drugs , especially Tranc, is so hard to get off of they won't get sober. Is there a solution - I don't know. Interesting video Captain. 🇬🇧

Saddens me when people here in Florida ask me about Kensington Ave. It's slowly becoming the representation of Our City. I have no idea of a solution besides the City investing in a town for them all to move to and let them be which sounds horrible but what can be done if they don't want help or are not mentally capable of getting better? Mr Captain, you know all the oriental liquor stores that don't open till like 10 or 11. The lil grocery store off the Lehigh / Summerset l - train stop opens early. Good place to get a 24 oz beer.
From south philly I remember hearing about this place Kensington around the year 2005, they described it like it was another city, i thought Kensington was bristol, they said like these people make textiles and pottery, me and my friend went there in like 2015 and it was a junkie pit, my problem is if you google philly all that shows up is this, i can google italian market and kenzo comes up

In truth, Kensington does look a little cleaner. Just a little. Now society needs to be rid of fent and the other illegal chemicals so that the Mayor's job can be eased.

From what I've seen from videos, I obviously can't say this is 100% true but I think the corner dealers all wear those masks as they help hide their ID...

I remember fixing an ATM on that old Wells Fargo the big ass stone building on the KA corner and when I was inside the outside ATM thing and a druggie pissed on the ATM case. I then called my armed guard every other visit and he wouldnt meet me out there

Clean the streets but try to close places that help addicts to clean themselves and get nonjudgmental care for their wounds? Really? How about more shelters and easy access to detox? People sleeping on street are so pathetic.
I agree with your critic. Some people try to help the addicts in wound care and not spreading out hepatitis, HIV or MRSA, and others say that they are "enabling" the addicts. I'll never understand the second way of thinking.
I don't think wound care is enabling at all, but when you see some of the groups just giving and giving, meals and clothes over and over again, well, I mean, an addict needs a reason (besides their own health) to actually stop. It's a fine line between compassion and enabling.

The subway cars are populated by addicts and they are in terrible condition; riddled with garbage, blood/vomit stained seats, needles here and there …
