Had a 2006 1.0, 2013 1.33 and now, years later, bought a 2015 1.33. I wanted the 1.5 non hybrid, tested it, was amazing, but... The deals were just too insane. These prices are insane for even used Toyotas. Also, the interior was 90% the same and outside also. Even tho the post 2017 yaris is a bit more refined, nothing extra. Even the first yaris 3 from 2013 is a really good car. People call it senior, woman or learner car. Well... Maybe... But it's one of the best sellers all around the world so I guess even grown ass me use it like me and my neighbor. 1.0 feels underpowered on motorway, but gets you A B. The 1.33 is decent on motorway, tho in 6th gear and uphill motorway with passangers will require you to downshift to 5th. The 1.5 was the best to drive, but wasn't worth the 2000$ extra here as I was buying. Some like the fabia, others fiesta or Rio/i20, but there are people who are just Toyota people like me. So I managed to get the 2015 almost highest equipt trim for 9500$ and it has just 37,000 miles or 60,000km and it had good owners (1st owner bought from Toyota original dealer) These cars usually just want oil + filters.
