I am so sorry about Candy! I lost my kitty of 17 years last Christmas and know how hard this is...feel better and know that no matter what anyone says our pets about are our little people and they truly are family. You gave her a great life
You thought about adopting another cat that you won't feel alone at home? Of course, new cat would never replace Candy, but it'll bring you some new adventure, you could make a new friend. What do you think about that?
Pistachio yeah that’s something you don’t think about for ages.... when a cat dies they takes part of your heart with them.... you can’t just get another cat to bring happiness you grieve for the cat you lost the little weird things they did everyday that you took for granted the little things you’ll never experience again... you have to go through the emotions.. bare in mind this was filmed less than a week after candy passed away... far too soon to think about another cat but it it was a nice thought though :)
I am so sorry about Candy. I watch your study with me videos on pretty much a daily basis and am so used to seeing Candy popping up on the screen or meowing every now and then. I hope you are well and I hope that time helps you heal.
Jamie, my cat Luna passed away two weeks ago from FIP, the Same condition your cat had. We had to euthanize her, as it was best for her. It’s been so hard to recover and heal since her death. I just want you to know that I know what you are going through, and I wish you strength through this time. We will get through this ❤️

I’m so sorry about Candy, can’t imagine what you’re going through. I’m sure Candy was very grateful you were by her side those last few days, and grateful to you for giving her so much love and companionship all her life ❤️ I’ve lost two dogs and it hurts, but they know peace now and I can look back to memories with them and smile/be glad for all the love we gave each other and the growth they helped me achieve. Much love always x

I lost my dog Bar, yesterday. He get sick two moths ago. We went so many times to the veterinary who said us after two moths of tests that he had an insulinoma. Me and my family took care of him during all this time, not letting the house to be with him. He was really my Best Friend. He had a very good life (the BEST) and was so so so loved 💛💛💛 🐺 We'll miss him so much. I can releate with you Jamie. Sending to you so much love 😘

This breaks my heart and reminds me of when I lost my childhood dog recently. It’s a truly sad experience when a pet passes away because of how much you’ve loved them for being the most innocent and loyal companions. But it’s a part of life and all you can do is appreciate their life. Love you Jamie!

I’m so sorry again about your cat. Losing the love ones (persons or pets) is something I wished never want to experience but I ended up experienced many times. My 2 dogs died while I was young. I didnt feel much pain back then but then when my lovely Tofu, my little dog died it hurted so much. Coping with sadness takes time😢 i wish you all the best Jamie and you will be fine. Always support you!

Jamie I feel for you. When I was in middle school we lost three of our pets in a span of 5 months. We had each of them for over a decade and the pain of the losses was so traumatic. It is truly devastating. Even about 7 years later they enter my mind. Keeping yourself busy is great during this time period. Candy herself was such a blessed we all loved her and we know how much you loved her. You rock Jamie! You are a strong-willed person for sure and I am thinking of you! You will continue to rock it in residency and throughout life! And we will never forget Candy ❤️

So sorry. It will get better. I have had to put down many dogs (as I am allergic to cats) and it hurts, but it will get better. You can always adopt another cat, it won't ever replace Candy, but it could bring on new adventures and companionship.

I'm so sorry for your loss.
My cat also just passed away a few weeks ago. He tested negative for feline leukemia, but he was diagnosed with large cell lymphoma. It all happened so quickly, he passed away a week after his diagnosis. And what you were saying about Candy peeing in your bed and being somewhat out of it, not wanting to move around much - we have experienced the same thing. There hasn't been a day that I don't think about my cat, but I am glad you are trying to make yourself occupied, it does help a lot.
