This is all B_. Over 40 years ago I was a career counselor for about 10 years. When it comes to education, especially a college education, minorities have had privilege way above any white student. There were so many financial aid, and scholarship programs for minorities that I care not to count. If you at least showed up and inquired, instead of moaning and groaning for lack of opportunity you would of found a way through college. Because you didn't study in the lower grades you might have had to get a GED first at the college before moving ahead. But when you consider that people of color (Black) represent only 14% of the population, you can't expect to have an over abundance employed as executives. So yes it does not look like you excel in the executive ranks. Now take the "White Population", and check on the percentage of white in executive positions relative to total white population. I have to "White" children. I had to pay pay pay to get them through college. No free classes, no scholarships even though we applied for many and etc. I think opportunity needs to be colorblind. But you also have to do the work to excel. We don't need ill prepared doctors, or politicians that are truly not qualified for their position trying to heel people, perform heart surgery, lung transplants and etc. And this ripples through the whole economy from top to bottom. You want to be somebody. DO THE WORK. There are millions of minority role models in our society who have done the work. Stop looking for the easy way, and handouts.
