It's not only the pace bro, it's about swing, seam movement, reverse, awkward bounce , pitch, reading the bowler and adjusting to different bowling actions of the bowlers. It's an entirely different thing when we play cricket on a pitch and on matt.

batting against machine is much harder . With an actual bowler you can comfortably anticipate the length and line long before the bowler even releases the ball.Most good batsmen would've already made a shot selection at the time of release its just a matter of reflexes. With machine you can only make shot selection half way through barely you have time to react. Machines are good for training reflexes but not good at training shot selections
