The first time I heard this song I just finalized my divorce. I sat in my new pretty much empty house and this comes on. I guess I needed a good cry in the moment it felt like it was written for me. I’ll never forget how it felt taking those pictures off the wall, walking around just trying to absorb all the memories and knowing I had to move on

That’s definitely not knocking their recordings, it’s absolutely a testament to how amazing these guys truly are on the road!

Huge fan of Judah and the Lion. My son actually sang take it all back a year ago, he was 5. He jammed and i sent it to them and they sent me a nice message back! Very good guys with great talent. They rocked this out and I see nothing but wonderful things them in the future. Another one of their songs is Only to be with you and that's a beautiful song too. Love the rock/banjo but love the slower songs too.

Just when I think I’ve lost all faith in modern music, you young-ins go and do this to this 40 year old man. I’m in a marriage that has grown cold. We’re still together but I know she has no more passion for us. There’s no more “heat” in our marriage and we may as well take our pictures off the wall. I don’t know if we can bridge the great divide between us anymore. You guys and that young lady have touched a deep and personal place in my heart that I don’t even believe my wife knows about. Blessed to say that my parents have remained completely in love for decades, but this song puts me right in the shoes of my grandma who got a divorce after her husband abused both her and her children and cheated on her. Really powerful. Forever thankful for these boys.

The epitome of underrated music! This song has much soul! It’s minimal instrumental really makes this as as a interesting, authentic, and raw piece. We need more tracks like this instead of Ed Sheeran. The music video is so beautiful and the sound of the banjo is so comforting and nostalgic.
I can feel all the emotion and all the love for this track they poured into this track, unlike most singers nowadays. This is truly a heartwarming piece with full heart and soul.
This track also shows that it’s not always necessary to belt really high. Sometimes singing in a relaxed part of your range is best. Or that a song doesn’t have to be super upbeat to be really good.
