I LOVE your reading journal. It gives me a lot of inspiration for my own reading journal. I love how you break it down into quarters instead of doing a cover page for each month. I go in spurts where I read a lot and then hardly at all. So the quarterly version would work better for me. I loved your layout. So simple and yet so beautiful!! Thank you for taking the time to share them with us!!❤❤❤
I used to love Stephen King and did read most of his books, but at a certain moment I suddenly was finished with his books. He is a wonderful writer but it became too simple and bloody for me. It might be just me because I started to be more interested in the detective books. I must say that I’m not really known with most new books because I only buy the cheap books and they are usually older but I do love the books by Karen Rose, Lars Kepler, Karin Slaughter, M.J. Arlidge, and Sophie Hannah. I loved all the pages you made for your reading journal again. I just love the way you put everything together and make it look so good 🧡🤎💛
For a fantasy/romance series to put on your TBR, the Last Binding trilogy by Freya Marske (complete). The first book is A Marvellous Light - it's an Edwardian-set parallel fantasy (where the "magical" world runs along side the non-magical world) that kicks off when Robin (a non-magical person) is appointed to be the liaison with his magical counterpart (Edwin) in British politics and ends up getting cursed because someone sinister wants something sent to his office. Each book in the series is a different romantic pairing, but there's an overall plot arc to the three books that involves the magical world.
I absolutely love these videos no matter how many books you have read. ❤️ I know I have said this before, but Bridge Kingdom is SO GOOD... Wait ... OMG I just looked and ANOTHER book has been released!!! So happy. 🤩 Sorry. Lol. Anyway, not sure if this is the last book in the series, but each pair of books are, (VERY simply put), the same story. But told from a different perspective. This leaves no cliffhangers. So I have found it pleasant to return even after a break. Plus you can listen for free with Audible plus membership. But I understand if you want to wait until all books are out ❤️
Thank you so much!! 🥹❤️ Ohhh I've been waiting for the next (last possibly?) book to come out from the Bridge Kingdom! And it's good to know that it's one where you can return to, takes some of the pressure off, haha! 😄 I'll definitely start it at some point! If not this year then probably next year for sure!
I recommend the “Lady Sherlock” series! It’s historical, murder mystery and has romance that doesn’t just come out of left field (a personal pet peeve), and gets better as you go through the series. I believe it’s still ongoing and with 7 books right now it’ll give you something to read for a while. Each book is fairly small so perfect for taking on a plane.
Beautiful spreads 😍 The last one is my favourite. I've not read any of those except Blood over Bright Haven and it is SO GOOD! One of my favourites of all times!
It's not steamy at all and it's more historical fantasy fiction but it is about a female pirate and I loved this book ! The book is called The Adventures of Amina Al-Sirafi, so if you haven't read that I highly suggest it. I need to give this series you mentioned a read because I love historical fiction and pirates :3
@@JournalAway It does have some romantic themes, but it's not the focus. So it's not completely void of that. It also intertwines historically accurate facts with fantasy excellently and I enjoyed that aspect the most.
I’ll check that productivity book as I’m in this self help book phase 😂. One that I can recommend is Feel Good Productivity by Ali Abdaal. I’ve watched few of his videos and since his book is available on Spotify, decided to give it a try. It’s shifting focus from being productive no matter what to being productive in things you care about and giving yourself a chance to enjoy it on the way. Really recommend it. Good option is also Think BIG by dr Grace Lordan, for all that people that want to progress in life or think about changing careers- it helps visualise Me+, a version of you after achieving your goal, and what that version would be doing on daily basis (book recommended by Ali, there’s interview with the author on his yt channel)
Im listening [audiobook] one of Skulduggery Pleasant book again, it name is Armaggeddo outta here but it isnt the first book, its more like list of short stories based in the universe. I ordered Skulduggery Pleasant comic book, Wolf child manga and Thora, Thora is in finnish so i dont think you can read it but what i know🤷🏻♀️ Im gonna read those books when i finally get my order
I'm actually Finnish so I could read it, haha! 😄 I just rarely read in Finnish these days because I live in Japan and it's easier to find books in English here. But I'll check this out, thank you for the recommendation! 🥰
I just started the TOG series and finished the first book yesterday and I absolutely hated it 😂 I’m not sure if I can keep going with it. So many things don’t make sense. SJM is just too overhyped and I am not a fan of her writing style. Or maybe I’ve just outgrown YA novels since I’m almost 30 haha. I also really disliked the Housemaid series. The main character was so annoying and the second one was even worse. I think I disagree with the Goodreads ratings for most books so it’s really unreliable for me. Two great books I read this month that I loved were Hidden Pictures by Jason Rekulak and Nothing more to tell. I leaned into horror and mystery moreso than I usually do, but I wanted to the spooky vibes this season so I definitely recommend if you want an unexpected twist and edge of your seat reads. There’s also a hint of romance in both which was just enough for someone like me who doesn’t love smut heavy books. Also Anna, I love Stephen king! He is such an amazing writer. His books are twisted and crazy but they are just so well written that it makes me want to go back. I recommend Holly if you’re wanting to read about true crime and suspense, you don’t need to read the previous books to read it either. I definitely recommend!
Oh nooo! 🤣 Haha, but I get it, I think her writing style is not for everyone. It's quite dramatic in my opinion and I find some characters a bit annoying (this was my issue with ACOTAR more than TOG, though) lol. I liked the first book but didn't love it. The series does evolve into NA somewhere around the 4th book but I understand what you mean about growing out of YA. I feel that too 😅 I find myself agreering with the Goodreads ratings for the most part which is why I was surprised about the Housemaid 😅 But some books are definitely a little overhyped which I've noticed affects the score... Okay, I think I'm sold on Stephen King! 😄 I'll check out Holly, thank you so much for the recommendation! 🥰
I love the way you layer elements. It just comes together so nicely and beautiful
Thank you so much! 🥹❤️
Very beautiful🧡
I cant believe I’m watching this only 4 minutes after it came out. I never make it to videos this early!
Haha so fast!! 😄❤️

Thank you so much for your kind words!! 🥹❤️ Haha and same here! 😄 Some months I read a lot and some nothing at all 😅

I've been waiting for this video already, I'm sure I'll again be amazed by your layouts 🥰
Awww thank you so much! 😊❤️

Ooo I have a feeling that Lady Sherlock has been recommended to me before! I'll check it out, thank you for the recommendation! 😍
100 days of sunlight it was a great book to read
Uuu I haven't heard about this! I'll look it up, thank you for the recommendation! 🥰
Beautiful spreads 😍 The last one is my favourite. I've not read any of those except Blood over Bright Haven and it is SO GOOD! One of my favourites of all times!
Thank you so much! 😍 I've heard really good things about it too!!
Alaina Urquhart: The Buther and the Wren and also the sequel The Butcher Game. VERY GOOD BOOKS!
Ohhh I've never heard of these, I'm gonna add them to my list! Thank you for the recommendation! 😍
GORGEOUS journal pages! ⭐️🌟⭐️
I mostly read Swedish criminal stories so I can't give you a book tip...! ☺️
/Ditte 🤓
Billy Summers is great. Misery is a nerve-wracking thriller. Stephen King is a must-read author. Also Sharp Objects is a great dark thriller.
Sold!! I'll definitely pick up something from Stephen King this season! 😄 Thank you so much for the recommendation 🥰

Ohh it sounds interesting, thank you for the recommendation! I'll check it out and save for a time I'm not in a mood for romance or mystery, lol 😄
