Cloth pads are so good. Periods stopped being so bad. I used to think there was a lot of blood before, but now it just seemed to be a problem with disposable pads. Plus, no more crinkling sounds. No plastic that creates more sweat. No more smell. A few tips I'll share for reusable pads. Go for natural breathable and moisture-wicking fabrics. The more layers the more absorbent. Have multiple pads for different flows, with different sizes and layers. Avoid any synthetic fabrics like PUL unless you think its really necessary for heavy flows. Rinse em in cold water, or treat with hydrogen peroxide, or just throw in the washer with the rest of your laundry. Reusable pads are part of your clothes now. Its really simple, if you have access to clean water. If not, reusable or disposable menstrual cups and disks are also an option.
Washing them is a real headache for me + they're good but I don't feel hygienic even after washing again and again, using anti biotic liquids too, and feels a li'l wet always.Using big sized hankies folding them as pads will be better in order to clean it easy, I guess.
@@SphitiMishra Its a real hassle to clean, so I recommend having enough pads for the week. For me I only have enough for one day, but I was able to make do even at work at a remote worksite and camping, I'd rather wash them immediately every single time than to go back to the store bought kind. You can add vinegar to soften up the fabrics again. And you can machine wash them every use or at the end of the week if wanted.
As a person who's been using cloth pads for the past 7 years who's flow can be pretty heavy at times, I can vouch for how good and safe they are for me. How much better my periods have gotten, because of cloth pads. I have overnight/heavy pads as well as regular ones. Not spending money on buying pads, now. 👏🏾😩

The length of time you should wear your pad is every single time you go to use the bathroom ( I can’t go pull down my pants, pea, wipe, and then pull my clothes back up with the same pad still there. Even if it has a minimal amount of bodily fluids on it🤮. That is so nasty t to me. Or, change them every 30 minutes to 45 minutes, depending on your flow. Thank you for being so willing to understand more about that time in a woman's life. Some men aren't willing to learn about such. 👍
Your wife is of course right ☺️ The liquid was poured faster, because the disposable pad appears to have faster absorbance. I have a heavy flow, when I used disposable pads (the nighttime ones with wings, always a good brand) I’d go through 3 or 4 a day. Now I use disposable pads I only use one for all day and one for all night and it’s much more comfortable, doesn’t dry my vuvla out, doesn’t smell and it’s reusable!
Usually I have normal period, buy sometimes in first days of the period I leak so fast and so much that fresh normal pads (Lines, Always) don't have time to absorb the blood and it leaks on my legs and pants. If I'm out and at work I use tampon and smaller pad (I don't mean daily ones, they are too small). So in that cases would reusable pad absorb quickly enough?

I was insecure with that big thick purple Always let alone a cloth pad. I think a cloth pad is for people with cute periods not for people with cysts or fibroids.
We actually have a ton of customers that have switched over to cloth pads because disposables couldn’t contain their flow and cloth could. We use a waterproof bottom fabric, more sizing options with much larger coverage and absorbent fabric that was designed with the purpose of absorbing bodily waste while still being able to wash out easily. The combination of these things can make the right cloth pad an amazing solution for ultra heavy periods.
My periods used to make my bed look like a m*rder scene. Store-bought pads just never were absorbent enough and I always got the level 5 ones. I love my cloth ones! I'll never go back. Plus, I just learned that there are bad chemicals in the store pads... That can cause our period bl00d to smell worse, and it can cause more cramping. I don't have those issues either with the cloth ones.
Do you know douching & wearing pads make your ph balance off ?! My mom said that’s how she ended up with fibroids. Even certain foods can. You have to find out the cause.
Need to clean the pad and then use it? How do u clean such thick and layered item? Single piece of fabric can be cleaned thoroughly but for layered things like pad, no matter what the inner layer wont be clean enough .

Exactly. I live an apartment and don’t have my own washing machine. I was thinking constantly hand washing them. What about swapping it out in public!?? Would we use normal for a day out of the house? It would be horrifying if a bloody cloth pad in a ziplock bag fell out of our purse!

We have pads designed for super heavy flow too! Ones with much more coverage and absorbency than the one shown here. We also offer something called an interlabial pad (ILP) which is a great heavy flow accessory for those with a flow that just cant be contained by a pad alone no matter the size
For some people it does go all over like that actually. But for those where it stays in one spot, both pads would essentially hold less overall but the cloth one would still hold a comparable amount if not more in that same middle spot
I'm assuming these handmade pads are for home use only. There is way a women will change the pad and store them in a bag or wash them in a public bathroom😂
I really need a fellow pcos girl's review on cloth pads. I use always infinity pads and the first three days of my cycle are extremely heavy. Like if I can avoid leaving the house I will heavy.

Disposable pad and tampon companies hide harmful chemicals like: Titanium dioxide and Peg-100 Those chemicals are the most common but there are more. These chemicals cannot only give you cancer with your reproductive organs but can also bleed more and longer. These companies put chemicals in them so you bleed more and longer just for you to buy more of their products. The thought of marketing was somewhat good but the execution was horrible, instead of thinking of health problems in their product they decided to go with marketing. These studies show some deaths. While death is not common it is still possible and at risk. Please check your disposable products for harmful chemicals and check to see if there are more in other companies. Warn a friend about this.

I have a murder scene every month this wouldn’t work for me either 🥺
We have pads designed for super heavy flow too! Ones with much more coverage and absorbency than the one shown here. We also offer something called an interlabial pad (ILP) which is a great heavy flow accessory for those with a flow that just cant be contained by a pad alone no matter the size
If only it distributed itself out like that. But the hole doesn't move. 😐
For some people it does go all over like that actually. But for those where it stays in one spot, both pads would essentially hold less overall but the cloth one would still hold a comparable amount if not more in that same middle spot
What color did you use for that pad and is that color on your website?
That’s not a towely fabric, is it? I think towel types absorb faster
I'm assuming these handmade pads are for home use only. There is way a women will change the pad and store them in a bag or wash them in a public bathroom😂
Good where can I get it
I think it's a great idea but it takes a while to absorb😊
For how long I can use this?
Phle 2 din sanitary pad use kro...baki din ye cloth pad use kre
I think ye sahi rhega
Luving this gUrL 😊
I really need a fellow pcos girl's review on cloth pads. I use always infinity pads and the first three days of my cycle are extremely heavy. Like if I can avoid leaving the house I will heavy.
I dont think that the cloth pad worked because you never turned it over in the video so that proves it didn't work lol 😅😅😅😅.
They dont even share the weight of the pad(dry form)....as even tht matters when u wearing it down there...n sell them as non returnable items....whole cheat game...better to use menstrual cups

Disposable pad and tampon companies hide harmful chemicals like:
Titanium dioxide and Peg-100
Those chemicals are the most common but there are more.
I used their wash before formula change and then after formula it made my v,very itchy and irritated. I wish they didn’t change their formula.
I dont think we can use cloth outside home... As a adult women with heavy bleeding i m insecure to even try in public. Better to use around 4th or 5th day or when we r at home. 👍
Use a cup! No need to worry about it out of the home. I'm a heavy bleeder myself and it changed my life!
I'm sorry but this ad seems just a similar to the commercials on TV not for real women. I don't know if you've ever had clots but I have never seen a pad or tampon collect them they just sit there so can your pads collect a clot?
in India available Femi9.. Biodegradable napkin .... World best napkin
Omg I need one
I never use the cloth pads actually never heard of those before i just stick with my maxi pads
i would never use reusable pads
reasons😃
1. your supposed to change it every 2-4 hours. how am i gonna wash it if i’m at school!?
2. if i’m at school where would i put it?? like my bag and just let my blood stink up the class?
3. just no
What made you feel u had to use that colour do you think your viewers have no imagination 😮
If you have poor hygiene do not wear cloth pads. Period! You need to keep yourself and the pads clean after use.
Doesn’t absorb fast enough

Don't worry about your period being late, its your second one. When I started mine were always late, or too early. It stabled out in about a year. (This time is the first time it has been off schedule in 5 years.)

Yes, by all means, let’s go back in time to this disgusting and unsanitary form of menstrual management! If you want sustainable and long lasting period management, go for a menstrual cup. Clean, comfortable, wearable for 12 hours, and doesn’t leave you literally sitting in a blob of your own blood.
You scared me
Always tests on animals💀
