Travelling solo is amazing. Bit nerve-wracking the first time but it's a liberating experience and Greece is a fantastic place to do it, very safe and lots of lovely people.

Great video, but not enough on Syros, a wonderful island which has lots of nice beaches and villages as well as Ermoúpoli, the capital (which is interesting in itself).

Yeah I travelled by myself. Greece is a great place for solo travel, very safe, easy to get around, friendly people etc. Can highly recommend it.
Great video, looking to do something like that myself this year, but as things go with restrictions at the minute I may have to postpone till next year. those islands look great.
I wouldn't put off planning a trip as long as anything you book is refundable. Really hard to predict what's going to happen in a few month's time. It's clear Greece are keen for tourism to resume over the summer so we just need to wait and see how the governments can make this happen. If you have any more questions about these islands just let us know.

Great video. Agree with your impression of Serifos - never worked for me either and I was there for 4 nights 😂 But I'm sure it has its appeal. Sifnos and Milos top 👍
2020 was the first year I never made it to Greece in .... 20 years! 😲

Glad you enjoyed the video. Yeah, I never like talking badly about any Greek island but Serifos was just...not for me. Maybe coming straight from Sifnos (which was amazing) meant it never had a fair chance, but nevermind. Always good to explore.
Shame you didn't make it to Greece last year, but fingers crossed for 2021! I've got a few days booked in Rhodes/Tilos for mid-June, but will have to wait and see if that can go ahead or not. All being well I might get a further trip in September but no specific destination in mind yet.

Thanks, appreciate the feedback. It was mostly filmed on a Panasonic GH5 and a DJI Mavic Air drone.
It's a shame Serifos didn't impress.. how is the beach of Livadi? It seems to have great views up to Chora and lots of restaurants/bars. Is it comparable to Kamares or Adamas?
I wouldn't discount Serifos. When I visited it was very quiet due to on-going Covid restrictions and I think this had quite a big impact on my first impressions. I also just found it slightly less appealing than Sifnos, which isn't to say it's a bad place but Sifnos is my current favourite Greek island so it was tough competition! I've read other opinions online which suggest Serifos is quite popular so I think it just didn't connect for me.
Livadi beach looks nice, but I didn't really spend much time on it as my hotel was closer to Livadakia beach so that's where I went. Looking at photos online, it does look really nice though and possibly comparable to Kamares but I couldn't say for sure - perhaps you can let me know if you see it, I think I need to revisit Serifos and give it another try.
excellent video.We are visiting Paros and sifnos at the end of August.Very hard to find any descent videos on Sifnos.Im still toying around with the idea of maybe going to Milos for 2 or 3 nights?Is it worth it?
Do you mean Milos in addition to Sifnos or as an alternative? They're both great destinations and worth visiting, but we did prefer Sifnos for it's beaches and cuisine. I'd see both if you can, but if not then Sifnos would be our choice

Yeah I think that could work. 8 nights is quite a lot for Sifnos (though not a problem), changing it to 5+3 on Milos would give you a good taste of both.
