Thanks Forest. I'll be back in action soon. I didn't rain here for over 30 days, and there were a bunch of forest fires here. It was crazy. We finally got some rain for a couple of days. I'm hoping to get out some this weekend. GL & HH
I don't consider that to be bad ground. Bad ground is when the Minelab FBS machines only want to run single digit sensitivity settings in auto. I've got places here where both the MX Sport and MXT Pro will not detect a coin past 8 inches...nor will the CTX. Well let me take that back...they will but its an all iron signal. Those are bad dirt places. Only pulse machines do well in it. The Sport is a decent machine if you get a proper working one. Unfortunately, that still seems to be a gamble.

Where about in North Carolina are you I'm out in Asheville looking for a club to join or get together with a few people to go dig beeps with i have the mx sport got it last week seems to be a good machine I haven't got to use it much my only problem is I don't no anyone that has old land or homes to hunt
David Cutshall I'm in Lenoir, and work on Blowing Rock. No clubs here either, but if you look for old schools, parks, and old Churches you should find some good stuff. Old houses are a bit harder to come by, and a lot of times you may not find as much as you'd think.
Ok thanks for the info I'll keep that in mind your not to far out maybe in a month or so I've thought about starting a club if I can get some people together keep up the good work I don't no if you have the 13inch coil for the mx sport or not I thought about getting one in a few weeks if you have one you should do a depth comparison vs the stock

Sounds good I'd like to see it in action I've got to try and find a class ring that was lost 30 years ago Saturday for a neighbor they lost it in a corn field that big coil would be handy
