My first Helicopter was the honey bee king 3 and I am still flying it after 3 years (many rebuilds in that time) I have just finished building my first 600 size and love how it fly's. This is a nice looking helicopter and the color stands out. That was a nice tame first flight for it ??? WOW. You ROCK.
Nice flying and floats! That new radio is a huge step up over the old Esky systems. I'm ordering this RTF next week. I just got the Esky D700 3G from Xheli and have become a fan of Esky helis now.
nice heli, looks really good, hope you will get warm weather soon, we had some nice weather but now colder and rainy... Think I'll go flying again soon when the sun is back.
The blades are not curved up or down. The blades are symmetrical and relatively flat. Three servos on the helicopter adjust the pitch of the blades, allowing for air to be pushed down or up.
I think he just uses them as a visual aid however they do look functional. I personally prefer a rad bit more distance between my Heli and the floats. Water & electronics dont go well together. Excellent review on this Heli and excellent other vids!
They look like pool noodles cut in half. I use a set of pool noodles on my MJX F45 and they work well. I like the floats this guy makes out of the orange kids arm floaties / water wings. Look through his uploads and you will find them. Also... I ordered this heli from xheli yesterday. Got my UPS tracking # today. ;)
Are the floats there to just get it higher off the ground? Are they simply foam that you might find at Hobby Lobby for any purpose and cut in half? Great video as usual!
Kind of off subject, but I'll ask anyway. I noticed Ike's Model A in your garage. Is Ike no longer with us? I enjoyed your video of Ike driving and shooting out of that car. That was great.
Is it ever warm in your parts of the country? Lol. I like the stand but how accurate of a feel do you get? Interesting idea by using that. Maybe you should market that and save some flyers a lot of cash while making a little for yourself! : )
Are those floats? or some type of training gear? I currently fly a MJX F45 with & without floats, Ive done numerous water landings and I am very much considering buying this heli. It will be my first 3d 6ch collective pitch Heli so I am sure I wont be doing any 3d flying anytime soon and just sticking with normal flight mode. Anyways I was just curious if those were floats on you Heli? Thanks, Daniel
Nice, but my Esky CPX never flew, so I would not be buying this one. All my RTF's were junk until I got my Blade 300x. Finally flying a real heli now. But even that one had blades from the factory that were not balanced.

Rolls, loops , low inverted. I'm glad you didn't do anything crazy with it on first flight.

This just went up my "must have" list to the top. Wish I had money, lol. Very nice looking heli. Any chance of a LED light upgrade?

Than transmitter's software interface looks a lot like Spektrum software. I wonder if they licensed it.
33 degrees? Its still freezing cold here in the Netherlands!
