Imo, the problem was never her mana cost and how early she could come down, it was the weapon itself, and I don't know how you change it without making it an even bigger problem.

hey martian, after a lot of time I returned on HS and I wanted to update my raza priest. Do you think that the shadow build is better than this? and also is still worth to put renathal in the deck?
Renathal not worth it. I think Polkelt/Spawn is optimal, but idk whether Benedictus is or not. Hero Power is better and you don’t miss out much on Holy stuff, but it yucks up the Polkelt pretty good so if it’s not worth it it would be for that reason.
I wish they would do open patch test servers like many other games. I guess the downside is it could slow down the balance cycle, but it would be great at ferreting out broken interactions/decks that devs miss.

15:30 I wholly disagree. By doing exactly this a lot of the issues with whatever the meta is at the time don’t exist for me. Apart from when something takes over entirely(disco warlock) I see a wide variety of jank every day. Yeah if you have really high MMR and try to do that shit in top 500 legend like where you are martian, of course it’s a nightmare. If that’s just how you play the game, it’s no problem, better even imo.
Sounds like the game is different at your mmr and playing the game as it is and as you want it to be match up. I don’t get your point.
I think he's more talking about the idea of "I think in a healthy world every game should at least make it to fatigue, so I'm going to jam Dead Man's Hand and Elyssiana into every deck I can" when realistically that's not the meta, that's not how the game works, and you're going to be miserable losing to every combo/aggro deck ever.
There's a difference between teching in some fun cards for spice, and forcing a playstyle with no regard to how the game *is*. And he's saying you'll be miserable if you don't respect the meta at all, at least in the long run when you're 5-50.
Exceptions to this rule are Mark with his absurd fuckin combos, and Rarran because god bless that tilted savior. But they're both content creators so...yeah.
@@MartianBuu that only happened once I stopped “playing how the game is” and spamming meta decks or counters to meta decks. The game became what I made it by playing what I wanted, so you saying to have fun you’ve essentially got to follow the meta I think is just wrong. That’s my point
