Just bought a 14 with the mufflers and res deleted. Thought I could live with it, but I live in the mountains and climbing decent inclines the drone was bad. After an hour I was over it. Especially with my kid in the car. Gonna have to get some mufflers on mine. It does sound good deleted, but living with it day to day would wear on me
you still have the cats ? have the same set up with no res or mufflers. stop on by and check out the video posted here not to long ago. let me know how the sound is on it. nice ride bty
The cats are still on the car so it will pass smog test unfortunately it’s so loud now with the muffler delete a cop can write me a ticket for being over the “decimal” noise level! Varies from state to state tho!
So after watching this video last year I only did the muffler delete, now I’m thinking about the resonator delete also but curious as to how bad the drone is, it was the only thing stopping me from doing it the first time.
It’s not bad. I have an off road x pipe and flowmaster outlaws (which are straight through/ hollow resonators) It’s loud but the drone is t bad at all. Only at around 2k. But I drive at 60mph so it’s super quiet inside. Mine is an automatic too so not sure if it makes any difference. I’m gonna be doing headers next.
i didn’t see much of a difference in mine. i’ve had muffler deletes and red deletes on all my mustangs. i always bought the muffler delete first, then added the res delete but never noticed much. nothing drastic. now i buy them together from the start
Only need a tune when u get in to the higher end stuff like when u start adding in boost and superchargers etc. usually fine without a tune if u replace exhaust system or add CAI. U can still tune it to squeeze out every ounce of HP but u might be wasting 400$+ on a couple more ponies . Or tune it yourself save a lil $$
How much would a shop charge for something like this ? I have corsas coming in but they keep on getting delayed but I’d settle for this in the mean time
They will cut resonators off replace both tubes and cut the mufflers off and also replace those tubes... you can get your stock tips till your Corsas are ready
Honestly the mufflers you can do yourself since the are bolt ons and really simple. The resonators are the only thing you need welded for a shop to do. Save you a 100 or so doing the mufflers yourself very easy my friend
In an earlier comment he said they just but straight tubes in. I had already done muffler delete, debating on resonator delete now and was wondering the same thing.

Removing the resonators is what makes the drone terrible, muffler delete ain’t too bad
Add some vibrant resonators where your sitting at underneath the car. It will help trust
Get you a pair of electric cutouts now..👍
I have a muffler delete only and it’s not near as loud as I want it. Resonator delete coming soon 🤣
@@Rafaahh fax

Subbed because why not!
Meanwhile I'm looking at that AE86 Corolla (or is it a AE85? I can't tell)
Nice mustang bro
I think I seen your in California, did deleting the resonators cause a check engine light or anything?
Everyone was stealing my name annoying it won’t unless you remove your o2 sensors or catalytic converters.
That’s sick
Omg I love that saund🤗❤
Very very nice
Niceeeee
Sounded amazing before but stills sounds good. Just wondering if this is legal to do
Because I want to do it

Talk to your mechanic he will verify this! You definitely have to be on your best behavior when cops are around!!!! 🤣
Yes this is legal as long as you have the cats on.
Who cares if it’s legal
Idk y I thought that was steph curry for a second
Amazing
Grove street, home
I got headers catless x pipe with Borla atak best system ever
Hey man did you have any drone with these deletes?
AnthonyBro, no actually sounds pretty good at highway speed
😎
Would yall prefer a 2014 GT or 2016 GT? I love both and its hard to decide
Lando Boy hard pick. Personally I like the 13 - 14 body style a little more. But with a little work the 16 can look clean
2014 😍😍😍😍😍😍 it resembles the GT500 and I love it
S197Danny 5.0 I agree
16
Definitely 2014

@@martindeleon9863 I ended up doing it a couple months back, drone is actually less than what it was with just the muffler delete.

In PA our cars need to pass emissions inspection with state inspection, would this still pass?
Yes it would as long as you don’t touch the converters
Do you need a tune when you delete the mufflers and resonators? And will it run any different?
