LASD Mental Health Awareness

I sat down with ‪@KTLA5‬ Kareen Wynter and
‪@LACountySheriff‬ Dr. Seetal to discuss the importance of mental health services, especially in law enforcement.
We also discussed the urgent need to get employees services and resources and to break down the stigma in the law enforcement community in receiving help.
We have over 20 LASD psychologists embedded into the department that provide services to employees & their families 24/7.
