I love my M650. I like how it looks different, too. I do wish they'd sell more colors for the removable face plates, but I haven't had any crackling or issues with sound. I also wish they would add them to the mobile app so i dont have to use my laptop for firmware updates and such. Great comparison video. Thanks for sharing & comparing.
Really appreciate your comment and kind words about the video. I agree, I think they should develop an app for the M650. Unfortunately, I’m finding the intermittent crackling sound happening with the DJI Mic too! So back to the drawing board to what the problem is - I’ll find it!
Good shout. Worth a look. I’m trying to think whether the crackling began when I moved into the office space a few months back. I don’t think it did but I shall experiment.
Another useful video Mark. I am very tempted by the DJI mic for video calls and online meetings rather than having a microphone on my desk or boom arm.
Thanks Derran! I didn’t consider the mix for video calls. I did a quick search to check how you might do this and read this from Sound Guys website - “You can use the DJI Mic for Zoom calls, but you will also need to plug in a pair of headphones with a 3.5mm TRS cable to the headphone jack of the receiver to hear your audio.” (www.soundguys.com/dji-mic-review-104154/# )
Oh, dear. Despite my recent sound issues I’ve never had an issue with power. My experience with Anker customer service is they want to solve your problem so I’d recommend getting in touch. Hope you are able to sort.

@@mark_kelly might be wireless interference. Do you have a lot of devices that rely on the 2.4GHz spectrum around your devices?

Can't hear any difference...Good Review!
Thank you!
Did they solve the crackling?
I’ll be honest, I’ve since continued to use the DJI so I didn’t get back to Anker with the problem. Probably should!
