I mean, every set has it good side if you really look at it. It is the fan favourite Pokémon, with the artwork and pull rate that make the cards worth something. For instance, every Charizard card is at least like 1 or 2 dollars because they are Charizard. But many regular ex's and V's are worth 50 cents or even less. At the end of the day, every set will go up specially now with all the hype in the area. Although, many cards from an expensive set will always be cheap. Gold Cards, Full Arts, Rainbows. (Sun and Moon/Sword and Shield)

Been saying it for a long time. The Ditto gimmick cards will age VERY well. Packs can only be opened once. Same with the peelable cards... They can only be peeled once.
That eevee box with the playmat is awesome. And the dragonite premier ball is also a sick box. I would def hold those long term if the price is right. I have a case of pokemon center ETB for this set, cuz I play pokemon go a lot.
It's always interesting to look at these videos and then compare it to our european counterpart (cardmarket) As for PoGo, the rise in increase for it has NOT arrived here so far, prices virtually unchanged here as far as I can tell
If Europe isn't caught up on price trends then you basically have a crystal ball to look into the future. So id pay attention to what is going up in price in other countries and make moves based on that.

I’ve been buying GO here and there for a year now. I like opening it. The radiants are nice, the rainbows are pretty good, the mewtwo everything is awesome. On top of all of that it’s a pretty small set which makes it easy to master. Also it had some really cool products attached to it including the Radiant Eevee Collection. Is it the best set ever? No. But I’ll never understand the people who consider it a BAD set. Who doesn’t want a radiant Blastoise or a gold Mewtwo?!
I still see it at my local stores for the team pin boxes. I pick up a box or 2 if I see it, but lately even after restock the walls have been empty even with limits set.

I’m one of the rare ones that actually love the PoGo set as it got me back into the hobby after 20+ years. And thanks to the tcgplayer Black Friday deal I finally mastered the set filling out the reverse holos I was missing
I do think a lot of youtubers only talking about value and investing and ''this card is going nuts'' and so on is not helping at all. But as you said - for the most part it's just a lack of supply. I also think Pokemon changing the pull rates to be harder was not a great call at all either (especially combined with the lack of supply on top).
I recently went back and bought the last few cards I was missing for Pokemon GO... mainly it's because Surging Sparks is marked up everywhere just about.. I was able to get it occasionally from Target for MSRP but their shelves have been empty since Christmas.. and with Prismatic Evolutions pre-orders being over MSRP not to mention the insanity happening with the Blastoise/Venusaur 151 set... I'm focusing more on singles for now as a collector. I really miss the days of pre-ordering booster boxes for around $100 to try to pull chase cards right about now!

POGO was the most underrated set of swsh. Literally every card is stamped AND it’s nearly a Gen-1 set. Gold mewtwo, rainbow mewtwo and dragonite. Plus an alt art mewtwo. It was a no brainer to invest in at $2 a pack
I agree it came out too late (July 1st 2022). The Pokemon Go mobile game came out July 6th 2016. Should have been released within the first 12 months of the mobile game being out. Pokemon go was a fun TCG set. The peelable cards were cool and It wasn't a difficult set to master.

No doubt, Danny... people are buying EVERYTHING. The only things I often see at stores is battle decks and Battle Academy boxes. It's insane, man. Even my "secret" spots I could almost always count on to have something has dried up. While I'd rather spend my money on packs of other sets, I do think the nice cards in Go are REALLY nice.

Pokémon go is a great special set, love it. You should look at those unpeeled Ditto’s in PSA 10’s, they’re hard to grade and are expensive with not much being around. 🤫

It wasmt mt favourite but i enjoyed the idea of the ditto cards, they was a fun addition i enjoyed trying the hunt for so i didnt understand how everyone absolutely hated it (from what i heard from people around me)

I literally bought the pogo trio radiant… holo… and reverse holo for 3 dollars total just because I liked having it not because it was gonna go up down or sideways
I thought so highly of pokemon go at release being a huge mewtwo fan .... the card felt so lack luster for being a dang alt art . They should have made it like a shadow mewto in reference to the game it would have at least had more of a pop to the card . Non the less I will still own 30 of these copies of the mewtwo alt sense he's my favorite uhhh haha.
