Many never experience the call due to lack of obedience. Churches today want salvation but no obedience. For faith is only real when there is obedience/ never without it/and faith only becomes faith in the actions of obedience. I thank God for having found Derek Prince and the simple to understand, pure messages of scripture. These short messages are wonderful in that you have one thing to hear and concentrate on, to get it deep within your heart. We are so blessed to have access to his messages even though he is with the Lord. God continues to use him for His Glory.
I don't understand churches that claim to hear from the Holy Spirit but then go and preach words that are antithetical to Jesus Christ's commandments to us. Those that make claims that contradict what Jesus states in the Bible. Like those who claim that Jesus okays violence and that anyone who says otherwise is "weak". I heard a "pastor" state those poisonous words recently and I felt as though he had smacked me across my face. I recoiled from that and I refuse to go back to that church because I refuse to turn my back on Jesus. I'm troubled by it because that man appeared to be relatively congruent with the rest of Jesus' teachings, but then he started spewing worldly and political beliefs and claimed that Jesus said them. I don't know how to address that, especially since my parents apparently agree with it. That hurts my heart. I know our earthly family isn't our Heavenly family, but I dearly love my parents and I want them to be right before Jesus. I am afraid for them. The words of Jesus make me tremble and I dare not disobey my Savior who has always been my Champion. I will pray for them. I weep for them before Jesus. I am begging Him to show them that all their years of life in this world has only marred the Truth of Jesus that they knew in their youth. Pray for my family and for me to have the strength to be able to accept the plans that I know God has for them. I long to be with Jesus, and pleasing to Him, more than anything else. I only request that my family might also be brought the same convictions I have been given through the Message of Jesus.

Jesus calls us to be "soft on the sinner; tough on the sin". So, love your neighbor as you love yourself. Would you want your neighbor to hold you to your Faith, if they noticed that you were walking astray? I believe that it is loving to gently shepherd the lost sheep back into the fold of the Good Shepherd. We are called to keep our Faith community accountable to the Words of Jesus, just as we should want to be held accountable for our own beliefs. Hope this helps clarify your question, and I recommend that you read your Bible and attend to the Way of Jesus and not to the "cheap tricks" of this world. Those Buddhist practices are pagan practices because they come from Buddhism, which is a false religion that denies Jesus Christ for who He is. What about a pastor who diminishes the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross? Bishop Keith butler in Detroit teaches that " it wasn't enough for Jesus to die on the cross, he had to do more ". Butler uses his imagination to diminish Jesus sacrificial work on the cross. His message is unbiblical and full of error. Butler needs to only say exactly what Paul said in the scripture about Jesus and not add his opinions to God's Word! He will be held accountable for his erroneous teaching !!!
