- How To Clean Diesel Particulate Filter Using MotorPower Care DPF Flush Liquid:
1- Remove the diesel particulate filter from your vehicle.
2- Seal one end of the filter or place it in a container that can fit the DPF cartridge.
3- Pour MotorPower Care DPF Flush liquid into the filter and let it soak for 10-12 hours. Shake the DPF every few hours during this time.
Note: (Make sure both ends are sealed or the container is closed tightly to prevent evaporation).
4- After 10-12 hours have passed, remove the filter and save the liquid in a bucket for future use.
5- Thoroughly wash the filter with clean, warm water.
6- Reinstall the filter on your vehicle, add MotorPower Care DPF cleaner additive (804 or 808) to the diesel tank, clear filter codes, and it is recommended to force regeneration through a shop scanner or by taking a 30-minute drive on open roads

I would like to see before and after flow numbers
The big trucks are easier but I've been cleaning lately a few on 2016 duramax and 2021 Ram and I haven't found a good soap or solution that helps I cut them open then pressure wash them all DOC,DPF,SCR and just a good 2600psi or higher pressure washer and the results are amazing 10 out of 10 so I would be skeptical of using this cleaner fluid and no pressure washer, I've been using just hi pressure water with no solutions and it works, once I'm done I weld everything back up
You mean a mere high pressure water washing will clear all the soot , I thought without the chemical if you wash it it won’t go, please make some video in your next clean up and post it here let see
I watched this video a while back ruclips.net/video/Zw-EAc_Lpv8/видео.html since then i have done two DPF's with a simalar method....... i fully submerge in water with a dish washer tab for 4-6 hours giving it a shake etc every 30 mins or so, then fill with a diluted brick cleaner and leave for 2 hours (again moving it and shaking every 30 mins) then wash out well with the hose pipe. The last dpf i did like this i checked the before and after mbar readings, the car showed 12mbar on idle and 101mbar at 2500rpm and after 6 on idle and 47 at 2500rpm. Worked like a charm!! but it did involve removing the DPF from the car.
I took my out took it to the carwash use the high pressure hose and iam good
If you have soot, power washing it alone will not clean the DPF.
@@motorpowercarewill this work for the SCR?
High pressure wash works all the time for me.
@@chevellebelair1402 yes, this works on SCR as well if clogged with carbon.
So what happens to the used cleaning solution and sludge that's left? does it just get dumped? Does the cleaning solution contain any harsh chemicals that may cause the substrate to break down or pit ??
The unique formula of our DPF flush liquid is designed for multiple uses. After application, allow it to settle in a bucket, the carbon, soot, and ash will sink to the bottom. Carefully drain the clean liquid into a new container, leaving the dirty layer behind. Dispose of the remaining residue as you would with oil. This method ensures you get the most out of our product.
Late night trip to neighbors swimming pool…… the neighbor you don’t like, preferably.
Will this work for the SCR?
Yes, this will work on SCR as well if clogged by carbon.
No need to bake it?
No baking needed! This replaces the baking process.
Does this cause your truck to sputter ?
Thank you for your question! Our MotorPower Car DPF flush liquid is designed to effectively clean and maintain the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) without causing the truck to sputter. When used as directed, it can help improve the overall performance of your diesel vehicle by reducing emissions and restoring optimal airflow.
I believe he his pouring into the filter from the wrong end, should be going back out from the cleaner end to the dirty end.
To clean it properly go to the Nurburgring...whoever understood the comment like it
Is this safe for catalytic converters
Yes, it is safe to catalytic converters.
Correct
Why not blow it out first and the add the liquid
and wash with water than first
LOOKS LIKE IT'S 50% BLOCKED :D ANYWAY THIS SHOWS NOTHING. YOU SHOULD MEASURE DIFF PRESSURE.
a crowbar is all you need!
If I break it out will the light go away
Looks like you just cleaned 5% of them bro
uhm, you cleaned it the wrong way
Did he
@@truth.hurts... yes the ash can only come out one way.
@ranxerox10 I'm about to do this next week how do you do it
@@truth.hurts...You have to reverse flush the dpf, force it out the way it came in, you will know when the ash is flushing out, it's an orange/brown colour.
I'd not a rinsed it out . Put the solution through jet wash .
