I got mine on the black vinyl, this record is packaged really well, and the shipping container kept it in pristine condition, but more importantly, it sounds fantastic!
Great review Felipe. Product wise, it looks like a winner. Order fulfillment and execution-wise, it left many dedicated customers out in the cold with the DISASTER of an ordering experience. Until AS & CK gets serious about fixing and modernizing the UE of their website, I do not feel comfortable ordering direct. 🎺
Thanks, Concert Buddie. It is indeed a great product. It’s also important to pint out the flaws, so things can hopefully improve. Great records deserve to be in everyone’s hands. Cheers
Many thanks for your review, Felipe. This is surely something for MD fans and/or completist collectors. Not for me this time. Getting somewhat tired of the overwhelming flow of jazz (re-)reissues and gimmicky add-on/special releases of dead artists‘ music. These feed mostly the reissue labels and global license holders but are disconnected from the artists themselves. The bigger excitement and joy, imo, can now increasingly be found with new jazz artists and labels. I am glad that you guys have already featured some of these. Please keep them coming. Support the living artists and smaller labels to honor their passionate work and secure them an income and a future. E.g. the so far lesser known but fantastic BBE label (name) stands for „Barely Breaking Even“.
@@thomashertl3037 Hi, and I agree with you. Music and art are in constant motion and changing, a true music fan is not stuck with certain things or just regurgitating the same over and over again. He’s seeking to be challenged and experiment. I also feel that record collectors are in many cases hunting trophies and not necessarily searching for experiences or discovery. It’s about how the shelves look. But there will be a lot of new things to be discovered, and 2025 already has great titles in preorder, can’t wait. Thanks for watching! F
Great review. Mine was ordered on announcement day. Full disclosure please as always; did you purchase your reviewed copy or receive free? Many thanks.
Hi Daniel. I did purchase my copy as any analog productions. Chad has never offered neither have I asked for anything from him. And I try to review mostly things that I can say something good about it, because doesn’t help anyone being negative. So yes, that is my most honest opinion, as the best of 2024 will be. Stay tuned. Thanks for watching! F
I got the black vinyl, and sounds great.
Thank you very much for the awesome video 😊✌️
Nice one Filipe. Yes got one. Excellent great prelude to kind of blue.
Really nice review of this release! Mi copy should arrive tomorrow! You always do a nice job of telling the backstories of the album on your reviews
Was thinking about ordering this myself. Excellent packaging! Fantastic review Felipe!!
I just listened today for the first time. I was lucky to get my order in in time for the blue vinyl
Blue vinyl always sounds better.

With four cuts is it a short album?
It does not run short for only four tracks, about 28 min total I believe. Thanks for watching! F
