Greg I don’t know why you say you’re ’not a professional interviewer’ when you do an exceptional job of interviewing your guests and getting the best out of them. I love the way you truly listen, you are so present as a host 👏 you’ve got a lot of humility and it’s your whole interviewing style that made me choose to listen to this on a big commute this morning. Love the humour you roll with your regulars too 😂
42:49 This quote really blew me away, especially coming from Samir who has spent a ton of time thinking about better titles! "It's more efficient to brainstorm with AI like, 'just give me 10 ideas for a RUclips title' - that happens more efficiently with AI than in a room with three other creatives." 🤯
my notes: * first rule of youtube - if they don't click they don't watch * permission based platforms - podcast feeds or email newsletters - users much more likely to interact with the content because they have given you the permission * interruption based platforms - youtube and others - you need to fight for the user attention (interrupt him) to get them to watch you * content-market-fit (it's also important to consider what you yourself like to create - kinda like a founder-market-fit)
Tell you what, I’m not sure about 2030 it’ll surpass mobile but the amount of people I see out on the streets looking down on phones I wouldn’t be surprised. Oddly enough the AR glasses will feel less dystopian than what we see now.
19:04 @GregIsenberg, this conversation brilliantly highlights the future trajectory of RUclips as a platform evolving into serialized content that mirrors Netflix, while still embracing the raw authenticity of creators like Ryan Trahan. The idea that familiarity, combined with unique personality, will drive success is exactly what I’ve been theorizing about RUclips’s future. Your video confirmed my thoughts on where content creation is heading, and I believe this aligns perfectly with a project I’m working on that has exponential growth potential within this same framework. I’d love to explore a collaboration with you on this project, as it directly taps into the opportunities you discussed. Let’s connect!
The AI podcast aggregator sucks so much. It's an incredibly cool product, but it just gives me the ick and I hope people collectively decide that this is all too much. What happens when the articles you plug in are also AI? What're we doing?
