This book reminds of a series of hardcover books from my youth about the uniforms and equipment of soldiers from history. They were in french and beautifully illustrated (in a similar style of the ones you showed) by the belgian husband and wife team of Fred and Liliane Funcken. I Love all the comments and descriptions you made about the uniforms. I will rewatch this for sure!
Thanks for watching - so glad you enjoyed it. I knew the Funckens from the graphic novels - very good stories and illustrations! Shall have to find more.
Very informative ! I am French and I love History, but there are so many things I don't know about French History. And your voice is so relaxing 😌😴. I watched the whole video in 2 sessions, I fell asleep during the first one 😊. Thank you for this moment 💚.
The King's German legion mainly consisted of the former Hanoverian army and some Brunswickers, as well as a few troops from Nassau. Brunswick was also its own duchy and their troops were not under Dutch service. Great video though
