My mom and my fav aunt, her sister born & raised in ilo-ilo city, you should try ilo-ilo city, Philippines their special food is chicken inasal or spiced chicken barbecue, just like pork lechon. Hope you enjoy many places in our country & the local people, don't hesitate to seek help from locals if ever your lost/looking for destination, they understand english though some are not conversant in english.
