I still have my vcr player but it sadly doesn't work anymore but my parents didn't get rid of it as it is also our dvd player as it's a two in one vcr and DVD player. Most of my dvds I own are Disney movies. I didn't have as many Disney movies on vhs. I don't have any vhs cassettes anymore. I do remember having Dumbo, Alice in Wonderland, The Sword in the Stone, The Lion King 2 Simba's Pride, Finding Nemo, Monsters Inc and two Winnie the pooh vhses. My vhs of Alice in Wonderland and Dumbo both broke because they both got watched a lot by myself and my brother as we enjoyed both of those movies. I always remember watching the shorts The Practical Pig, Three Orphan Kittens and Father Noah's ark at the end of the vhs of Dumbo. My vhs of The Sword of the Sword also broke because it got watched a lot by my brother as I didn't really like The Sword in the Stone as a young kid due to Madame Mim because she used to scare me as a kid especially during the wizards duel scene when she turned into a dragon that's why I didn't watch The Sword in the Stone much as a kid. Monsters Inc vhs I watched a couple of times though it wasn't my favourite so as a result I gave that tape away along with the two Winnie the pooh tapes as I finished pre school and had started Primary school once I turned 6. As for the Finding Nemo vhs I watched it quite a lot but it got given away. My vhs of The Lion King 2 Simba's Pride was my favourite disney movie as a kid as I watched this vhs the most and is still one of my favourite Disney movies as I have it on dvd now as once my vcr player broke I gave that tape away.

Yeah I remember reading the book years ago but the disney film is the only adaptation of the Jungle book i've seen and I might have to re-read the original rudyard Kipling because I don't remember much about it to be honest 🙂
Wished i'd held onto my old VHS (though i wouldn't be able to watch them now!!!) But slowly building my collection up of DVD and Blu Ray :) Fantastic collection Emma!
I've never seen that cover on Sleeping Beauty before. Was that the flip-side of the case insert? All my old VHS tapes are in the loft... but I can't see anyone getting up there before the 12th of Never. lol Nice collection. xxx

Mine had Aurora, Phillip and the Fairies on the cover. I'm pretty sure (because the cases are translucent) that you might be able to see another picture when you open it. (You can swap and change.) For example, with Bug's Life I have Dot on the Cover, but if you took it out and flipped it it was Flik. xxx

I remember these covers got many boxed, yes there is a market and tbf disney didnt create Jungle book it was already a remake

There is still a major follow for VHS collectors like myself, I would always hunt for VHS either from car-boot sales or eBay.
There was a Cinderella 3 a twist in time but it wasn't released on vhs because it was released direct to dvd in 2007.
