I think they used to be valuable once upon a time. But it wasn't long after word got out about their value that the market became flooded with them. Now only they sell at garage sale prices.
These tapes being “valuable” is just a myth. An incredibly irritating one at that. I can get plenty of Disney VHS tapes for a quid, 90p with my student discount at a nearby charity shop.. Definitely rare, trust me! One of the ONLY Disney tapes that’s actually worth anything more than £1 is Song of The South, along with some of the really late releases too.
They may only hold sentimental value at this stage for most of them I think, Cameron is looking forward to her early birthday present xD

The Lion King 3 was released on vhs as it was released in 2004.
