- Today's video is a bunch of the unconventional stones that don't really fit into any one category. We even found a bit of stone with pyrite and free milling gold. (He says casually like it happens every week.-- It does;) )
This weeks title comes from the abundant wild turkey in our area. They like to walk in front of our SUV. We keep joking that they come so close you could reach out and grab one. We were deciding on tacos for dinner tonight when a tom and his hens came strutting on by just as calm as you please. Must have been 20 or so of them. I swear they can smell the paper hunting licenses are printed on. ;)

Great variety of stones found on this day ! Really enjoyed watching. I hope to get out soon. Thanks for taking us along :)
Awesome finds, man. I spent a few hours on the Klamath today. Weather has been great for hounding recently!
Hey David the rock at 7:00 is so cool would love to see one cut and the Jasper with the red yellow and green so awesome I think I like the Jasper better than the agates.
Michigan gets all cocky about pudding stone, at 7:00 Oregon sez "hold my beer".
the last find of the video was freaking pretty. vicarious hounding through your video, as we are stuck inside right now. anywho thanks for sharing
Thanks. We're pretty isolated here, and we have about a mile of gravel on the bar in front of? back of? however you wanna think about river frontage.... We have a bunch to explore ;)
Big tip! People are getting kinda stir crazy out there, next time you get into it with a flock of turkusses, record it! Hens, Tom's, jennys whatever! Pure gold
awesome rocks, out of focus every close up. Im sure you knew that though ;)
I love that super bright jasper, holy smokes it just begs to be picked up and looked at up close! the jasp agates are always a treat too, so many awesome combinations of chalcedony and jasper :)
That's auto focus for you. It will be fixed when stamping ones feet up and down and screaming that one did one's job is no longer an acceptable defense against poor work quality. Until then, every close up must be constantly adjusted.
It's all good, I understand completely. I wasnt trying to be a troll, I subscribed to your channel, I love the fact that you show the details, it's my favorite part, along with the river scenery
Would really love to watch your videos but the lack of focus on whole is so bad, gives me a headache. Sorry
I'm sorry you feel that way, but so far you are the only person who feels that way. Frankly, we are one of the few channels that actually take the time to give a close up shot of every stone we film. You're welcome to view anything you wish on RUclips. This isn't your first negative comment here. It is going to be one of your last though. At least here. Flamers frequently burn themselves out of a digital glass home to throw stones from.
