My beautiful wife walked down the aisle to this cover. Tears streamed down my face, well done for making our magical day that little bit more so.
so cool
And in the end they were like, subscribe to my channel ... so romantic.
Picked one of the most beautiful songs to walk done the isle while playing. ❤❤❤❤❤Congratulations to you and your wife!
Gives you chills it’s so beautiful ❤❤
I find myself listening to this over and over again. I'm astounded at how the essence of Hallelujah has been captured and how spiritually uplifting this piece is. It seems the sadder the note, the happier the sound.
The calm and sadness and emotional chords are all there. The moaning strings, the flowing lines, the jubilant passage, the contented surrender and inevitable release... what a beautiful rendition. The more you listen, the more you hear your heart speak to you. Such depth...
Why is it that every time I watch & listen to Brooklyn Duo covers, I feel like I'm witnessing "Love" being made??
Agree 100%!
I first started playing this song for my 2lb baby girl for her 95 NICU stay 3 yrs ago. We continue to play this song every night for her as bedtime. She only prefers your version of this song over and over until she falls asleep. You are both amazing at what you do.😊
Hi Brooklyn Duo, hooly dooly. Your song came over the radio in my car transfer as I was leaving my Brooklyn apartment with my 4 yr old and 10 month old after my husband tragically passed away and we were heading to the airport to start a long journey home to Australia after being in New York for 3 years. Your song was so perfect for such a significant moment in my life that I made it part of my husbands funeral. We’ve walked past where you’ve performed that I also can’t help think it was maybe meant to be? Anyway, I just wanted to thank you. Your song will always be a part of me and my family x
It's so great reading other people's stories about how certain music affected their life while the same music plays in the background. I wish you luck for your life ahead :)
Blessings to you and your children, prayers sent your way ❤️
Wow, you ain't kidding with that comment. When I listen to this or any classical music, I find myself searching for a story to attach to it but never think of anything. And I'm brought to tears anyways. Whenever I hear this song I'll think of your story cause it IS the perfect music for your situation. My condolences for your loss.
I wish you all the best for your family! ❤
Since this is an older post, I'm sure you won't see my comment, but this really touched me. This song was the processional as I walked my baby daughter down the aisle on her wedding day. You've done it proud.
I have to listen to this rendition that ya'll performed every morning, middle of the day, and the last song I hear before I leave my job. Gives me the hope to press on thru a tough day. Thank ya'll so much. I pray for God to bless your family.
The most fun my wife and I had was picking out music for our wedding. I'm basically an atheist and protested any religious music at our wedding, but when we came across this version I was sold. We ended up using this version the the processional march. Great job you two, every time I hear this version it brings tears to my eyes!
Hey guys! We love this song and hope you like our version, filmed in the beautiful Troy Music Hall in Troy, NY. Many thanks to our brother-in-law John Hannon for the excellent video work, especially operating the drone INDOORS and expertly avoiding any crashes into that chandelier! Hope you all have a fabulous weekend., and thank you so much for watching! ❤️
Great!! I like your job. congratulations! I am from Brazil.
You have my like.
Thanks, it is beautiful
Beautiful! Love it! Happy Weekend back at you! Xxx

their motions are so effortless and passionate, its so stunning to witness. as a player of 5 instruments, i find myself in awe, and to be fair a little envious too, with every video i watch. hopefully i'll get to witness this in person one day
Thank you so much Hannah! ❤️❤️
The beauty of having this piece covered by a cello and a piano is you're absolutely sure no one will yell their lungs out. Bravo.
Everytime I hear your songs I actually remember why I keep playing cello and never letting myself give up. You are an inspiration for everybody who got passion of music. Still was watching your video and I'll always be. Such passionate work it's incredible. I can't get enough.
Hi there..Brooklyn Duo.....I'm in Liverpool, England...(in self isolation) relaxing in a deck chair in the lovely warm sun.....The World is in the grip of a lethal virus that is killing people in their thousands every day!.......I've got my headphones on listening to your beautiful music....that is taking me away from the horrors of what is happening...(for a few hours at least)......thank you so much.......thank you...from Liverpool to New York...with love..✌🏻

I just discovered the Brooklyn Duo today. This version of Hallelujah is beautiful. I have also seen them perform Zombie which I think is one of the most beautiful arrangements of any song I have ever heard in my 60 years of being a lover of music.
I love the emotion and fun that you put into your music. It brings the audience along for the ride.
Thank you!

Oh, such a troubled world we live in, and so depressing, and then I stumble across this gem of music. Thank you. You have no idea what a blessing it is to hear your music and the love you put into it.
Oh! ITS WONDERFUL
I love how the piano accompanies the cello. the cello is such a beautiful instrument.
Neil Modino I couldn't tell you how much I agree
I 100% agree and was just thinking this
I love everything about it, The dynamics, and the arrangement. It draws emotions out of you. Awesome!

This cover made me cry more than any other. It’s….just beautiful. I now wavy try cello and pick up the piano again. I was young and stubborn when my mom said I should have taken up music. I wish I would have listened. Thank you both so much for making something so beautiful that it gives me chills and makes me want to be a musician at the age of 39. Seriously…from the bottom of my heart….thank you.
I love Cello & Violin music...but when you combine Cello & Piano, you have a match made in music heaven.
Listening to your music as the early morning light is breaking over the sea and the coastal landscape of curved lush green bush ridges. Forever grateful sweet GOD 'Hallelujah' ! Thank you.
I am so obsessed with this song I have listened to it over and over again. Maybe 15 times and I can hear it more than that. I am planning my wedding and want this song played at my wedding. so beautiful.
I have always been a punk rock chick. Who over the years of my life formed a love for so many types of music. That being said, Hallelujah has ALWAYS been and ALWAYS will be my favorite song. The original is beautiful, and so many others are as well. But this, right here. Is what brings the hairs on my arms to a straight point and the goosebumps. You’re both incredibly talented and gifted. I needed this tonight. Thank you
This is the most beautiful version of this song.
KD Lang. Check her out.
I feel like I’ve died and gone to heaven hearing this! So glad I am finally hearing Brooklyn Duo after only discovering this fab duo less than 24hrs ago!☺️🎶🎵 where have they been all my life!☺️☺️☺️ thank you for playing such beautiful heart felt pure emotion music. Stay safe from the U.K. 🌈💜

God has gifted you both such incredible gifts. This touched my soul and brought me to tears. Thank you so much for sharing. God Bless ❤
This rendition never fails to move me to tears. It's one of my favorite pieces overall, but the combination of piano and cello are just mind-blowing.
this couple is such a joy to listen to!!!
My friend and I are doing a cover of this cover of Hallelujah (me on piano, him on cello). He recommended this duo to me and told me to watch the video. And what played back to me had me in tears. Beautiful. I hope I do Marnie justice on my piano. My friend and I live in different countries but we will record the audio of the instruments and edit them together. This is to lift the spirits of everyone affected by the corona virus orCOVID if you will. Normally people ask for likes, but if you’re moved by this or if you want to lift peoples spirits too I ask you to like this video. I don’t need or deserve likes. This couple does.
Awesome instrumental music 🎶 doesn't get enough shine now a days, such an art and a skill so wonderful to listen to, fantastic rendition of this beautiful song.
I am only 11, but am really into cello. You guys inspire me so much!
Beautiful. My wife and I love different versions of this song and this is a very heartfelt performance. Thank you.

I never knew a song with no lyrics could say so many beautiful things.
Love the modification at 1.22, it’s really an improvement! :)
Baby I've been here before
I know this room, I've walked this floor
I used to live alone before I knew you
Yeah, I've seen your flag on the marble arch
But listen love, love is not some kind of victory march
No it's cold and it's ever a broken Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
There was a time when you'd let me know
What's really going on below
Oh but now you never show it to me, do ya?
Oh but I remember yeah, when I moved in you
And the holy dove she was moving too
Yes and every single breath that went through us, Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Maybe there's a God above
As for me all I ever seemed to learn from love
Is how to shoot at someone who outdrew you
Yeah but it's not a complaint that you hear tonight
It's not the laughter of someone who claims to have seen the light
No it's cold and it's ever a lonely Hallalujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
I did my best, it wasn't much
I couldn't feel so I learned to touch
I've told the truth, I didn't come all this way to fool you
Yeah and even though it all went wrong
I'll stand right here before the Lord of Song
With nothing on my tongue but Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
The way they look at each other is so beautiful, you two are amazing!
RUclips algorithm knew I was feeling upset recently. It gave me something beautiful to cheer me up. Thank you for this experience.
Think you two are wonderful. Who knew, 30+ years ago, when I was getting yelled at by my parents for practicing my cello along with the radio, that careers could be made of it!
I love watching you play Marnie. You have such a light touch. You two are so perfect together and always give me a beautiful, hardworking experience. So glad I accidently found you because I didn't know what I was missing!
I keep coming back to this rendition! Over and over! It is the by far the best one I have found and I am sure Mr. Cohen would agree! It has been a constant reference in my desire to continue learning and improving on the Cello. I look forward to the day I can give Mr. Cohen an honorable rendition, too! Bravo to Brooklyn Duo! Thank You!

Your music possesses a magical power that can soothe weary souls and evoke boundless emotions and resonance. It immerses me, allowing me to forget all worries. Thank you!💖
Beautiful thank you
Thanks Jude 4 sending this 2 me. This is ONE of my BEST songs.
Brooklyn Duo a thank you for the magic you play. My wife and I lost our only child years ago and sometimes she needs to just escape from life. Your music takes her to another time and place, a time of happiness and smiles. Your music travels across hearts and situations, maybe more than you know.
It never fails . . . . I cry whenever I hear Hallelujah . . . especially when its played as beautifully as you two do. You've convinced me, I'll play it with a friend at church.
I can see the love of music and each other in what you’re doing! Thank you for your beautiful music!
Cello is my fav instrument.
I love listening to your music. Music is my absolute passion, I play the piano, not so well, but I keep practicing, hoping that one day I can create as beautiful magic as you do and I can make people smile, just like you. Thank you for making music. Pop and classic, you're doing a great job and made me cry in a good way multiple times.❤
Here am I trying to find among my limited vocabulary the exact words to describe to myself the beauty of such an amazing performance, but I just can't.
So so so beautiful😭 it brought tears to my eyes.
You guys remind me the beauty of this world.
Beautiful duo on cello and piano full of peace with this merveillous song! Thanks
Wow. This song became overplayed for me many many years ago. For some reason I clicked this and it is all new again. Great job.
HOW am I just finding you?! You brightened by day with your beautiful music!
Absolutely beautiful and I just can’t stop listening. How are you doing. Hope you are fine and staying safe out there?
The power....the amount of heart your playing exudes....my word, just exquisite
Now I've heard there was a secret chord
That David played, and it pleased the Lord
But you don't really care for music, do you?
It goes like this
The fourth, the fifth
The minor fall, the major lift
The baffled king composing Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Your faith was strong but you needed proof
You saw her bathing on the roof
Her beauty and the moonlight overthrew you
She tied you to a kitchen chair
She broke your throne, and she cut your hair
And from your lips she drew the Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
You say I took the name in vain
I don't even know the name
But if I did-well, really-what's it to you?
There's a blaze of light in every word
It doesn't matter which you heard
The holy or the broken Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
I did my best, it wasn't much
I couldn't feel, so I tried to touch
I've told the truth, I didn't come to fool you
And even though it all went wrong
I'll stand before the Lord of Song
With nothing on my tongue but Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah
