I legit love this guy, the first time I saw him on here I went over to his channel and watched all his videos. They're absolutely fantastic. There's something magical about the way he talks, so difficult to ignore and you always feel like you've gained something from listening to him.
5:44 Mic has one red band on the top
5:49 Two red bands on the microphone
6:01 some hand action....
I watched this trick about 6 months ago and loved it. I then saw Dynamo do the same trick on a chat show. Instead of trying to work the trick out so I could steal it as part of my routine I designed my own version that allowed the audience to see the ticket (in an envelope) the whole time. My version uses number forces with dice, cards and calculators. I get volunteers up on stage for each number and the last 2 volunteers get to open the envelope themselves, I think that adds a lot to the reveal.
Most of the forces I use were learnt on Scam School so I'm sure any of you could put together your own version of this trick.
It's all in the mic. At 5:45 he grabs the mic, and really examines it. When the camera is off him at 5:47 he pulls the ticket out of the mic. at 5:50 and on you can see he is hiding something in his hand. At 6:02 when he sticks his hand in to pull the ticket out; he is actually putting the ticket in, and then pulling it out.
How it got on the mic I'm not sure... camera work?
Most likely a modified mic to print out specific numbers. Although that's pretty expensive, I'm sure he would be fine with buying any priced electronically-designed prop. He has a lot of money from tickets and stuff like that.
(I'm probably way wrong)
David Blaine did the exact same trick in his 08 special, there is no props in that one
Batman also: (FWIW) Nate was the consultant who designed that part of Blaine's special.
Scam School Ah so it is in the mic isn't it?
Damn people !
Yes, magic doesn't exist, yes, there is a trick, it cannot be otherwise.
Just sit, relax and enjoy the show, that's all what's asked from you.
If you don't like, leave a dislike, but currently we're at 860-17.
Thank you Brian for not always revealing the trick (especially when it is done by a professional who has spent time and effort into it).
Not revealing it makes the wannabe magician (like me) still find something else in magic than "I know how it's done, nothing here for me anymore".
Truly inspirationnal, keep up the good work, love your channel.
Tip of the hat to Nate Staniforth as well.
Nate Staniforth you are an awesome magician props to you man.
i assume its a high priced portale printer and a blank lotto ticket
It's a little too obvious how he does it. He just has a wallet with 11.5 billion compartments (actually, it requires a lot less than that!) and he pulls out the ticket from the correct compartment. I guess the hard part is remembering which compartment each ticket is in, but there are simple mnemonic tricks for doing that.
Yes, this is a joke and not meant to be taken seriously.
Dave Power #6 so u don’t know then
I think you have hit on how it was done! :D
He should not have used the microphone so late in the routine. That drew a lot of attention to it unnecessarily and reveals how the lottery ticket was conveyed to him. In order to appear more legit, he should have used the microphone from the very first word he spoke. But had he done that, there's no way the offstage assistant could have passed him the ticket.
Your post was terrifically insightful, but I have to think the Alliance is going to frown on that.
It was well part of the routine. The microphone wasn't for him it was for the audience member who just got on the stage. would make no logical sense for a magician or even a public speaker to have an handheld mic for an entertainment talk because would want hands free and yet no logical sense for the audience member to wear a lav mic and be all wired up for the 20 seconds on stage so everything there made sense. Not saying that is or isn't the method but it makes sense logically if you watch a lot of public speakers. Also everything here can be done without the need for an assistant off stage.
Regarding this Illusion, my best SWAG (scientific, wild, ass, guess, for those who are misinformed due to the trends of Pop Culture) is this: Specialized printer concealed in the small of his back, some diversion of attention, and a little slight of hand.
Reason I go with this is starting around the 5:13 mark we see a clear view of Nate's back and his shirt is completely covering the mic-pack and his rump. When Nate calls Chad (one of the furthest participants away from the stage) up on stage we see Nate's right hand open and empty for the last time as he is clapping just before everyone (including the camera) diverts their attention away from him, to Chad who is making his way up on stage. Between that point and the point where Nate takes the Lottery ticket out of the wallet. Nate keeps his right hand in a relaxed position with the palm facing only himself, which is perfect for palming. He maintains this all the way to the point of putting his hand inside the wallet and extracting the ticket. At about 5:56 we see his back again and his shirt is now riding higher on his back, not smooth like in the previous shots. And seems to be caught or almost bloused on the top of the mic-pack or something else. This could of happened is he used the time everyone's attention was on Chad to reach behind his back and take the Ticket with freshly minted numbers.
Like I said, just my best SWAG. If I'm right or wrong (most likely wrong),I still really enjoyed the illusion.
Not saying i know how it happened, BUT, i spent heaps of time analysing this because i thought it was awesome. Really random pick up, the microphone he grabs off the stand has one red sticker at the top, however, the microphone he passes to the volunteer has two, one at the top, one at the bottom
i dont claim to know the answer, but somewhere in that process something had to happen
Yes and watch when he shows the guy the ticket in the wallet then turns away from him and pretends to pull out the palmed ticket.
Brian, Scam School should still be a show on television. It's so good to just be strictly for people who are on the internet all day. A ton of people who would love this don't know about it because it's just for RUclips and not being seen by them.
While this trick probably is technically or visually impressive for a fellow magician, for a layman audience member all he does is use a pocket printer... With thermal printing method you can build very compact designs in different shapes - flat ones, round ones, mic-sized ones, etc. - if you go for fixed number of characters, and for actual printing all you need is heat from any kind of battery. You can have both wirelessly controlled ones for mic's, and put mechanical switches under your thumbs for input if you go for flat pocket-sized printer - that way you can perform it on the street without helpers (though perhaps would require better sleigh of hand technique).
Meaning it certainly looks like a mechanical feat, but not really poetic... He might of course use another way, but when the result is exactly the same - does it matter?
Hm I might be wrong but I do think the slip was in the microphone
Awesome!! I hope I get the chance to see a show like yours.
People, people relax! This trick is great. Whatever way it is done, it is great. Magicians don't need to reveal other people's tricks to a public community if they have a plausible theory. Respect the beauty of the presentation. If people want to know they can watch the presentation over and over again to try figure it out or buy the book and read how to do it like pretty much any established magician has done. The truth is, ScamSchool reveals fun effects that you can do anywhere, to anyone so just enjoy the explanations, presentations and general fun. Simply put, just relax and let people figure it out for themselves if they want to.
I have my own theory about how this trick was done, But i think the really cool part about the trick is just how engaging this guy was. I mean The entire audience was captivated the whole time, which is an impressive feat in itself, and even before he threw out the ball of paper I found myself in a trance of awe and mystery just listening to the guy, even before i knew what the trick was. it was probably one of the best build ups I've heard. I think scam school totally nailed it in saying he was a poet, that's a very accurate description...
And if his magicians career ever fails the guy would make an excellent cult leader and/or dictator.
There really is something hypnotic about the way Nate speaks, right?
Glad you dug it, man.
Scam School hypnotic indeed, and i really did dig it. thanks for posting this vid and replying, you da man :)
He probably hypnotized them to pick those numbers lol
Amazing magic trick. Thanks for sharing this, Brian.
This blew my mind! Thanks for sharing this with everyone!
Glad you liked it! One of my favorites from Nate.
WAIT BRIAN ! ! ! You forgot to tell us HOW ITS DONE ! ! ! CRRRRAAAAAAAAAP ! ! !
Not knowing whether or not the mic was messed with after the last number picked i would say that a printer that uses heat to leave the numbers on the paper. This is how tickets like these are printed. I would assume an assistant off stage Using Bluetooth to send info to printer within mic stand to print.
Only problem I see is that the ticket is nearly folded twice.
Watched another video of guy showing the book and it's about 3/4" thick so not sure it is simply a off stage person printing and then hiding ticket into mic on stand. Also the guy said that the normal average everyday magician would more than likely go through the extent of work it would take to make this happen. The guy did not share the details at all,... Just the extent it would take mechanically to make it happen.
I don't know hoe the mic could have printed that paper due to the fact that Nate pulled a folded paper out. However, the trick captured my attention from the moment it started. Nate is truly a poet if magic.
He's folding the paper in his hand while he palms it. He's directing Chet and the audience's eyes with his left hand facing him while his unseen hand right is doing the work. Notice the unusually controlled movements of his right hand compared to the more natural gestural ones from his left. All the same, great hand work where even when you're looking for it you can't see the actual palm.
Definitely one of my dreams to Meet Nate. Would love to hang with you guys at a bar and just be able to talk. Love Nate, he's a true genius!
I dug around for how the trick is done. I've read more than one plausible ways to do it, that are both simple and effective. To each of those, someone who has supposedly read Nate's book on the trick responded "Oh no, it's so much more than that". I found this very suspicious. Why make more out of a trick than you need to? And why should an overkill be impressive? How is it even possible that at trick needs a whole book to be explained?
This reminded me of the indian rope-to-the-sky trick. It is one of the most special street tricks. The idea is that you do the most outlandishly impossible street performance, only, instead of performing it, you convince a few people to say you just did it. In your actual performance you only do the aftermath of the trick. That way, you make it seem like you did indeed something, while your hired audience lies about what the real audience just missed. Soon, everyone is talking about what you did, when there's nothing there.
I currently believe that the "trick" here is not what is done on stage, but the story that is told about the trick. He has convinced a selected few, who supposedly know the "real" solution, to deny any plausible solution. Thus he makes enthusiasts outside of his "hired" audience think he's done more than he actually has. The best part of this is that he didn't hire anyone. He sold them a very limited and expensive book, in which they are being let in on the trick. This is even better because it gets them invested in it.
We need to get this channel more popular than smosh and pewdiepie so we can watch brian try to reply to comments.
Guys I figured out how to do it
So step one: acquirer a time machine
Step two: don't do great things with the time machine
Step three: watch your own show
Four: place rigged ticket in wallet
Five: try not to be arrested by the U.S. Government for possessing a time machine (would you be arrested?)
So yea guys that how you do it, it's simple
Something very odd, is that i decided to play along. I chose a number, then decided, no I don't want that number, it sounds too expected, so then i chose another number, and finally flipped back and forth between 1 or 2, and because i wasn't 100% sure that 1 would be a valid number I stuck with "2", and coincidentally, someone else picked "2". I wonder how many people picked one of the numbers.
Some people seem to be upset that people are trying to figure out the trick. Isn't that what scam school is all about? Learning how to do tricks?
Hm... maybe it's a bit of a nonsense distinction, but I thought we were learning to be talented magicians, not just learning tricks.
(the former requires us to learn a bit of storytelling and presentation, while the latter is mainly about scratching the itch of how the mechanics were accomplished.)
Scam School
You make a good point. I do get the point of the video, about how he presented it, I just also get enjoyment on learning how it's done. It's one of the reasons I love Penn and Teller they make showing you how the trick is done as fun as watching the trick itself. Keep up the good work man, I think you deserve all the success you're having and much more, and I enjoy the show and look forward to the next one.
Scam School
I hope you take this the right way, but if you really "thought we were learning to be talented magicians, not just learning tricks" then I feel like you are VERY out of touch with your audience. Or maybe I am - they are your audience after all, so hopefully the people I know are not representative. But I know MANY, MANY lay people that watch this show with no intentions of ever becoming magicians - they are here because you show how things work (whether you want to call it teaching or exposure, not looking to get into that debate) and VERY, VERY few magicians who watch this hoping to become talented magicians.
Bartholomew Simpson The show is about social engineering, twisting words and building rapport, you may just be learning tricks, but if you aren't learning how to sell them as anything more what are you even learning?
Madra
Your reply is so far off-base from my response, I'm not sure what to say. Scam School said that he thought we were here learning to be talented magicians. All I did is point out that if the people I know (not myself - I am a magician, perform, am a member of a couple of magic clubs and am constantly trying to get people to work on presentation) are representative of his audience, that the VAST majority are NOT magicians at all - they are laypeople here to learn "the secrets". Are you a magician? Do you perform? From your own comments on other videos, you don't even do Brian the courtesy of watching the whole video so even if your comment about me being here to just learn tricks WAS correct (which it ISN'T), it would be extremely hypocritical.
Stop messing around , and enjoy the performance/illusion !
why does the red stripe on the mic change from one red stripe at the top, to 2 red stripes on top and bottom? The camera cuts too much also.. Nice palming also
I say its in the microphone. He grabs the mic, slips the ticket out and by the time he grabs his wallet its all sleight of hand from there. He takes a little bit of time after the last number is said out loud, somebody could of been typing the ticket up in InDesign or something like that so that could have given them the time to print it very quickly and get it into the microphone. My guess is if you examine that lottery ticket closely and compare to another lotto ticket, you will see some subtle differences.
A Derren Brown-esque trick. Brilliant!
You guys got it all wrong. He uses psychic paper.
this was brilliant.. if I knew this one, I could take over the world.... or atleast have a damn good show :) thanks for sharing..
nothing like having spirits manifest those numbers on paper! works every time!
lol
Cool! This is the first time I've seen Quantum Entanglement incorporated in a magic trick lol
You will never find a single person that can teach you how to do the cool stuff like this, all they show you is the simple stuff that probably everyone knows.
I... don't think that's true?
(I mean, after all: Nate wrote an entire book about just this one routine. It's a really, really good book about a really, really well-thought-out routine.)
Scam School whats the book called?
Scam School SPEAK TO ME
He won me over before the payoff.
My number was 27 :P
Nate had over 250 million tickets(every combination) hidden around the stage to go to when the numbers were called. no the people in the audience were told what number to say == simple i liked the eye roll from the guy that called the numbers
Has Nate ever been to Dubai, I've seen an illusion very similar to that somewhere around December to January and don't know if it might have been him
I think the best and easiest way to do this would be to have a paper that says "Please just repeat the numbers people chose."
The guys would most likely have the exact same look of realization on his face and laugh like he did. Then would comply. Et voila!
Brian dont let some pathetic haters get into your head! It's inevitable haters are everywhere .Just let them think and say what they want to. ;) anyway huge fan awesome content as always.
I was reading on the cafe, a couple years back, about a self-contained version using a 'box' and a 'pen'.
Check his mic
well the comments revealed how he did this
How is this done? I'm not paying 10 bucks. I saw some max person do it done on that one streamers video who's popular with the 'urban youth'
Well the volunteer sow the ticket in the wallet and the magician obviously switched it, the question is from where he got the correct lottery ticket.
It seems that the video was indeed edited when the person from the audience came to the stage, Brian if you know how its done (most likely you do) pls give me a little hint about the switcheroo that Nate Staniforth done, Im not asking for the reveal of the magic but i will very much appreciate it if you will replay to this.
if u look at the video closely from the beginning , there s no micro visible not until the end
Isn't this channel about magic tricks revield?
I mean... it's about magic. And how to be awesome by doing magic...
um, do you feel like cheated or something? Should I not have shared this with you?
Scam School Not trying to start anything but isn't his question just an honest one? Why such a rude reply
(In my eyes it was rude anyway, if it was not intended that way I apologize.)
Brian Geary nah... Maybe it was a bit existential. Sorta asking "Why are we all here? Is it because we want to see puzzles solved? Or because we want to become better performers, storytellers, and troubadours?
(definitely didn't mean it as a negative. Apologies if it came across that way.)
Scam School I just watch it because I think it's a cool channel. No other motives here.
Scam School Although I have to give you a huge amount of credit for what seems to be a ridiculously huge vocabulary. No sarcasm here.
Scam school is all about decoding tricks and performing them well. It's mostly about the performance. Can scam school please reply so I can have ur feedback
uh... here's a reply?
Thnx btw scam school is the best thing on earth
Scam School why are u always cocky sounding to your fucking fans!!?!?
POSSIBILITY:
The ticket was printed back stage and stuck to the microphone.
He palmed it in his left hand as he grabbed the microphone at 5:46. Note that he never turns the palm of his left hand outwards after this point. Also note the hand gesture as he grabs the mic (conveniently in a dark corner of the stage) and how the mic is held off camera until it's firmly in his hands.
When he reaches "into his wallet" at 6:05 he grabs the palmed ticket out of his left hand (between his left palm and the wallet) with his right hand. Note how he pulls the attention of his guest to look him in the eye as he's pulling out the ticket so he can't see what he's doing with his hands.
Is this how he did it? Maybe not. If I were to recreate the trick, it's how I would do it.
The real value of a magician is not in how he does his tricks, it's in how he presents them. I love the way he entertains the crowd. No music or dancing girls or anything showy. Nate really connects with the audience and makes it feel like you're being entertained one on one. If I ever have the chance to see him in person, I certainly will.
That's one possibility, from the beginning I considered it was actually a small mini printer right in his wallet. Considering the size of the paper, it is plausible.
Another observation is that the mic he took had one red band. And the mic he has given to the spectator had two red bands.
A black tape hiding the printed ticket which Nate unglued? Or he switched the whole mic?
That was so simple. The only contact was the microphone, then he palmed it into his wallet when he picked it up.
Where's the tutorial?
A great ending to the trick would have been to hand the lottery ticket out to an audience member. And the numbers would be for an upcoming lottery drawing. But you can't do this. I do appreciate the efforts that go into making this trick work though.
I would like Scam School to reply to this comment and tell me if it's Brian that is reply to these comments or at least a majority of them or some staff member? Because if it's Brian I lost all respect, if it's a staff member they need a new job.
#1: it's me.
#2: explain.
Scam School Because a majority of the comments you reply to just seem to lash out on the people. Someone as yourself making a career on youtube should know how youtube comments go. And instead of trying to defend yourself in the comments (if that's what you are doing) just ignore them. RUclips is a never ending debate that escalates quickly. So (in my opoionion anyway) I would just try and preserve my image and reply to the ones that are either giving positive comments or are just honestly asking genuine questions.
Just my 2 cents.
Brian Geary Hmm. Ignoring comments seems disrespectful to me...maybe because it's the "high-road" taken by old media celebrities (and Bill Cosby).
Seems like the very nature of RUclips promotes honest dialogue instead, which strikes me as wonderful and direct..
In this case, I just wanted to showcase an astonishingly well-crafted routine, but apparently some people missed the lesson and wanted to (incorrectly) shout their theories about the mechanics that made it possible.
That's fine, I suppose, but a bit... disappointing?
I wanted to say "hey guys: if you're focused on the mechanics, you're missing what makes this routine beautiful. Also: hey random guy: you were wrong in your theory. It's so much more clever than that. Nate Staniforth wrote an entire book about this one routine, and you should really read it sometime if you'd like to learn how to craft something as beautiful."
Sorry if it came across as anything other than this. Know that I think you're awesome, and I certainly hope you didn't "lose all respect for me" as you said.
Scam School Just for sake of keeping my comment short because I'm lazy and don't feel like typing a lot.
I thought the magic trick was wonderful and I myself personally don't care about how the magic is done as long as it is done well. And I felt that this was done very good.
I was going to reply to more points in your comment but honestly forgot what I was going to say, anyway. Thanks for the complement I think your personality is awesome as well. On a side note, I can't really lose all respect for someone that explains things in such a crystal clear way on your other videos. I think if youtube didn't work for you, you would make an unbelievable professor. Better than half the ones I have anyway.
Brian Geary I think that honestly might have been one of the best compliments I've ever received.
Thanks for the kind words, Brian. Hopefully I'll be able to keep scamming the RUclips community into believing I have a place here, but it's good to know that I'd have a position as a professor to fall back on :-)
Good stuff, real good
THIS IS BADASS
Hey Brian, where would I find Nate's book on this illusion??
it was a limited run, but I know secondhand copies are out there... google for it maybe?
Damn, I really thought I was about to learn this..
Nate wrote a whole book on this one routine. I suppose the take-aways this time will have to be about scriptwriting and presentation... hope you don't feel gypped!
I fully understand. I don't blame anyone. Thanks!
Fake lotto ticket. The machines automatically put the numbers in numerical order from left to right except for the powerball.
I got so excited seeing the title because I thought he was selling it...
He was. He wrote an amazing book all about this routine.
What is the name of the book?
Fun, but, I doubt Penn & Teller like that you are using their stuff. Also, Brian, if you want "poetic", go see Teller do his shadow bit. You'll love it.
I know a thing or two about P&T's stuff... :-D shwood.squarespace.com/news/2009/9/21/14-years-ago-the-day-teller-gave-me-the-secret-to-my-career.html
Scam School awesome, AWESOME letter... your dad is the best!
HOW DOES HE DO ITTT??
What? How Could This Have Been Done???
Printer -> New microphone -> Hand -> Wallet
I should make a series called "The unofficial show dedicated, to the show that is dedicated to the show that is dedicated to scam school". Although I can't figure out what it would be about.
I'm not making fun of this, I like these videos, I'm just joking around.
Yes there is nothing printed on the back of the ticket, and it was printed after the numbers were chosen
how was it printed when it wasn't tampered with ?! word it any way you like but you have no idea how this is done
how?
NumbMuzik he picks it up when he get the microphone so that his helper can say Hi.
It was hidden in the microphone.
Look at his Right hand.
at 5:58 you can see the folded up lottery ticket he is palming in his right hand. still a great trick!!! bad camera angle, oops lol
I can learn this . Lotto fever by Jamie salinas
There is a small, flat, wireless printer inside the wallet.
As the people say their numbers, It is printed inside the wallet.
No...
Like other people said the ticket was folded so No
Check out his left hand. For the entire act, it looks unnatural and fake. He just holds it there, still for a lot of his opening speech, only moving it to cross it across his chest at one point. The fingers never move! When he goes backstage to get the microphone, there's a flash of something that could be the fake hand coming off. My theory: his real left hand is writing down the numbers on the ticket, concealed inside the fake one. The person who hands him the mic takes the fake hand, and he palms the ticket, slipping it into the wallet
Also, hate to burst everyone's bubble, but I'm pretty sure powerball tickets are always in ascending numerical order
this familiar to me, I've seen David Blaine perform this before.
Why did no one say 21? Do they not have vine or something?!?!
Ticket hidden in mic - no way!
Haven't you guys seen Sons of Anarchy - he obviously pulled a Juice move off camera
I was ready to be stumped if Nate had an audience member pull the prediction from the wallet; oh well. I agree (and like) that his serious tone lent a gravitas to proceedings, however when such apparently sincere patter encourages the audience to believe it's not to be dismissed as a trick and he's not a good enough magician, one could argue he's enabling belief in woo - unless this was performed at a sceptics' conference or with some off-camera explanation/disclaimer for a lay audience.
I think, for some viewers, the gravitas built up more expectation than could be satisfied by him handling the lottery ticket and wallet at the end. That said, I'm interested to see more of Nate's work.
nah. Nate's not a woo guy. He's too smart and gives his viewers too much credit for that shit.
He's someone who understands what it means to respect the intelligence of your audience and craft a routine to suit.
Scam School Thanks for addressing my concern, I'm glad to hear Nate doesn't do woo. After multiple viewings, I'm still honestly confused about squaring that plus respect for intelligence with some of the language used without a nod nor wink, but I'm willing to accept my baloney detection kit may need recalibration due to oversensitivity. These darn tin foil antennae get bent easily. >8]
SpookyFan We'll get Nate on the show to discuss it, but (as I understand it) he's a fan of framing stuff to get maximum wonder. At the end of the day, Nate seems like a guy who'll say "Here are the rules. Here's what you're going to think. Here's all the reasons it's wrong. Next, you'll want to discount this whole experience, but here's why you should care."
Man. I wish I was half the magician Nate is.
Here's my magic tric! Think of a number from 1 to 3. You may not choose 1 or 3. You choose 2 didn't you?!
Fabian nope it’s 2.5 good try though
Anybody have ideas on how he did it?
small printer
someone else types in the numbers as they're picked, prints it and places the ticket at the microphone. He picks it up as he gets the microphone for his audience helper and just palms it in his right hand. The rest is very simple.
GizmoTheViking not true. He does have it palmed and got the ticket from the microphone BUT the microphone was on stage the entire time.
Matthew Di Bartolomeo the microphone on the stage has a red band at the top but not the bottom. The mic he hands to the guy has a red band at the top and bottom. Something got cut from the video.... maybe a 'this mic isnt working' and a switch out
Graeme Evans damn, good eye man. I never noticed that.
Here is exactly how the trick works... He wads up a paper ball and lets several people play catch. Then he reveals he is like uber amazing with magic.
heh. Well put.
I expected something cooler, but it was amazing regardless.
it was a lottrry prediction (as per the title), probably the best you will ever see and yet NOT COOL enough for you huh?
Brace yourselves the, "I know how he did it." comments are coming.
hi brian :D alright lets try this
The only thing he interacts with after all the numbers have been said was the microphone, that means everything before those numbers was the act. Coming after this he picks up the microphone and the camera pans away (no trickery, just professional camera people) and that is when he makes a move, as you can see at 5:57 he is obviously palming something in that hand, and you can almost catch a glimpse of it when he goes for the wallet.
Was I right Scam School ?
he def got the ticket when he was messing with the mic cool trick though
I feel like that is not a normal wallet. It probably has some sort of mechanism to print the numbers on the ticket, which is done by someone else.
Mr. Brown is way better.
I have this trick.
YEA!!! LETS GO CHAD!!
I can sum up this trick with 2 words: "Thermal Printer"...
simple
a guy in the wings printed the figures on a piece of paper
he brought the micro onto the stage ... not shown on the camera magician palmed the slip of paper
and he rest is child s play
he palmed it, you can see him turn the wallet away from the camera and everyone else when he opened it .
Hi
Pretty easy. Someone prints it out and passes it to him...not sure on how or when but you can see him palming it when he goes into his wallet. My guess would be when they set the microphone out on stage. You can already see him palming it at 5:57. Middle and ring finger. Drops it in the wallet at 6:02 in order to remove it with his index and thumb. On top of that, that isn't what an actual Powerball ticket looks like. Printing an accurate fake might be considered fraud in some states.
I like impressive magic but for anyone that knows what to look for, this isn't impressive. Well it is from a logistical standpoint but I have seen better slight of hand from 12 year old kids.
How'd that feel. Feel good? Did you get what you needed out of that?
Dude thank you for revealing the trick. You're the best!
Sourian Cyros but... he was wrong. Like, totally and completely, 100% wrong.
