Hi Justin first thanks for your video, can not be more clear and cool 😆💪 I have a question please, how to keep into "solid" when you split a solid with a surface ? In my case the 2 bodies become open multisurfaces 😬 Thanks for your help 🙏 Herve
the next question, how to connect/merge/group those sliced surfaces to make them into one object but you can select both surfaces again and also to give them separate textures, it's very hard for me right now because I'm just new with this tools, Sketchup is different because if you put inset any faces, you can select directly into the separate faces and directly give them texture, what i need in rhino is the power of curved surfaces.
If I want to split a box into two and there is a hole on one end, is it okay to close the hole with _PlanarSrf and then use Join with the surface and the polysurface (the rest of the box after splitting) to make it into one closed polysurface again
Hi everyone! Let me know if you have any questions about the split tool in the comments below! :)

Is it possible to fill in the hollow space that’s left in the object after cutting it. Kinda like to make it a full object again
thanks for the video ... btw how to do boolean on imported 3d object?

I think Justin is the best!
Thank you! :)
Plz give a tutorial how to creat hole in non planer surface
Can you explain why sometimes does it failed ?
what is the difference between the split and trim commands?
when i select object i dont have this 3 direction arrow thing pivot ?
I can't get this to work, it just keeps saying "Split failed, objects may not intersect or intersections may not split object.
"
Even though the surface are very obviously intersecting...
