Mike is bullish regarding the forecast demand for firewood as fuel. The Germans and Austrians are illegally scavenging branches from forests. The price of wood there is double what it was 3 years ago. The breakdown of civilization is a problem that will not be solved during regular business hours. Jake.
I think I would like to buy one of those side-puncher splitting boxes like Rabaud has. If I bought one, would you fix it for me if it breaks? The following countries have a factory in them that produces this type of splitter: France Italy Austria Finland England (not USA/Canada).
The breakdown of civilization means more localized production..

I also went to the show on Saturday (drove from MA). Loved to see / meet a bunch of great people. Getting to meet Mike and Melissa was a highlight of the year for me. I made and delivered a present to them for Hunter. They are genuinely good, caring people (there seemed to be a lot of them in this community of wood / outdoor lovers). Glad to hear Mike is getting a boost of energy / motivation from the meet. I am already impressed with what the Morgans accomplish, let alone the filming / editing. Keep on doing great things. 😊

Thanks for the channel Mike! You and your wife are a great couple together. Love watching you run equipment and y’all as a family. Just nothing quite like watching a professional operator. Watching you takes me back to days of my childhood watching an operator run his backhoe on my Dad’s property. He was an extremely smooth operator like yourself! Actually it’s been inspiring me lately to go back to my roots and do something I’ve wanted to do for a long time. I feel like a Kubota may be in my near future!! It might actually be possible now that our kids are grown and are nearing all being on their own. Thanks again Mike! Love your show. 😊

Don’t ever change! Mike, nice video recap on the PB Show. Cool story on the couple who escaped from New York. Would be even cooler if the commenter about the bourbon tour had met the same guy! The Eastonmade is sweet. I think Mike liked that. Hang up those Stihl's. Go easy on your back. I know Mike likes cutting but increasing throughput and handling the wood as few times as possible is the ticket. I think Melissa is going to buy that for Mike so he can get more done. GREAT PICTURES!

Hi Mike & Melissa. Paul Bunyan event had some great equipment! It was interesting to see some of it in operation. It's always nice to meet new people also. I have a question for you. I'm not able to do it at the moment, but would I be able in the future to get the bags of fire starter from you? Are you only selling them retail. I ask, because I'm an entrepreneur at heart, and if I could buy them at a wholesale price, I would resell them. It was an idea that came to mind, so I figured I'd ask. My best to your family. Blessings from Rick in N.H.

I am so sorry I missed the show this year. After last year, my first, I was so anxious to come back this year, but a combination of issues, including health, just made it unfeasible this year. Just told Sis, I've got to make it next year. Looks like I missed a great show. The guy from New York made a great choice in moving to Kentucky. Fortunately, he has a way to earn a living from home. Not that easy for everyone. And yes, you are inspiring to a lot of people to get out of the house and enjoy working in God's great outdoors. Not everyone can be financially independent, but they can become active and possibly healthier by working their bodies in ways they have never tried before. My health issue right now is mostly age related, but if God permits, I'll see ya next year.

My wife and I and my son and his wife were there on Saturday for our first visit to Paul Bunyan. We tried to find you, but couldn't. Lord what a crowd. The only one I found was Andrew Easton. My wife an I cleared the ground and built our home ourselves in 1975. I have heated with firewood for free for nearly 50 years. Free that is if you don't count five Husqvarna chainsaws, soon to be six, (I was a dealer four 8 1/2 years), a SuperSplit and new Eastonmade 12-22, New Holland Skid steer w/attachments and every wood handling tool imaginable. I came away from PB all fired up. ;-)) Maybe we'll see you next year, Lord willing. Shalom/gw

TERRIFIC video, Melissa and Mike (notice how I put those names in their proper order!! Ha!)! Hey, as I watched the OWTM family photos at the end, I found myself smiling--and thinking, "Man, yeah!! That's AMERICA right there--the REAL AMERICA!" We've been through so much in this country for the past couple of years, yet it seems that there were smiles all around. And, that's a high-five to y'all for making such an engaging environment for people to refresh our thinking that, in order to succeed in this country, we people must stick together and support one another. We won't get that from the government, so we must create it, ourselves.
Supremely well done! And, 'twas great to see Ole Buckin' in that stream of photos, too.

Mike and Melissa, Watching the pair of you in your hoodies, it occurred to me that a new slogan might be up for consideration in the design department. To this end here's a suggestion for Melissa to look at.... "SNAGROM EHT HTIW SROODTUO". Of course you'll have spotted it is 'OUTDOORS WITH THE MORGANS' backwards, perhaps for use on the back of some of your clothing ranges. Forwarded for necessary consideration for future use, if the suggestions floats your boat....Regards and best wishes, Robin.

You showed us some amazing stuff at the Paul Bunion Mike. Your conversation was interesting about jeeps. My dad was a WW2 Vet. I remember growing up in the 60's he had many jeeps. Including the old Willys jeep trucks. They were awesome too. I had 5 brother and 3 sisters growing up. I think dad had these old jeeps cause they weren't speedy. I expect 45 mph was top speed, but man we had fun with em. Great video buddy.

The 48C shown made by Easton made has a 115 horsepower diesel engine. The guy with the Rabaud processor said the power pack was 28 horsepower. The EastonMade has a piston type saw motor but I don't know what the other one has. Fuel is more expensive in France and labor is probably a little cheaper also.
The 500i Stihl chainsaw has, I think, 7 horsepower.

looks like everyone had a good time seeing you two. great pictures. That first machine was fantastic Mike. and later on in the video, the other gentleman with the all in one machine was great too. as long as the sun is out, doesn't matter if it's hot or cold. stay safe.

Glad y'all had a good time. It's really getting hard to find an event that you can go have fun and come home energized. I helped hand out New Testament scriptures I am a Gideon, and we handed out over 4300 at Auburn University this morning. Y'all have a blessed evening! Stay safe!

I watch and enjoy your videos for one thing only, you are a presence of the decent heart of America. You, along with the many other Americans whose channels grip the attention of ordinary people across the world, are the shining example of the true ‘Decentness’ (if that is exactly the term I seek); and not the glib sleazy world of the ‘celebs’ whose vain and coarse doings are splashed across the newspapers and magazines.

Thanks for sharing. Great video and enjoyed seeing all the cool tools as well as many of the folks you met with. One of those Eastonmade fire wood processors would sure look good in the soon to be built structure.

@@jakebredthauer5100 No I am not. I was referring to Mike and Melissa's plans to add a pole barn type structure in the wood processing area.
