We're chuffed to pieces that you enjoyed the drive! The rain is indeed very relaxing, a bit like nature's own lullaby, isn't it? We appreciate your support and hope you'll join us for more rain or shine adventures. 😌🌴🌦️🥭

This is a first. Driving in the rain. Lady Madge said she doesn’t talk loud like Sir Tom😂. We can hear you both just fine. Windshield wipers weren’t squeaking. No worries👍🏾 Be careful on the road. Blessings 🙏🏾❤️🇯🇲
Ah, bless up yourself! Thanks for tuning in even during our rainy adventures. Glad to hear Madge and Tom are coming through clear as day. We'll certainly keep safety first as you advised. Dearest blessings right back at you! 🌧️🇯🇲👌🏽

Big up for your feedback, we're glad everything's working fine this time around! Stay tuned for more adventurous road trips from Tom & Madge. Bless up!
I used to love bathing in the rain, but for some reason I itch so badly and it doesn’t happen when I used the chlorinated tap water. It was so bad I used to use the destroyer stand to scratch 🤦🏽♀️anyway, that didn’t stop me from going to mango bush to pick up mangoes that fell off the tree, thanks to heavy rain; man I loved those days
Ah, there's nothing quite like a rain soaked mango freshly plucked! Sorry to hear about the itchy rain baths, though. Odd, isn't it? The mystery of nature maybe. Still, it's great that you didn't let it dampen your mango adventures. Thanks for sharing your memories with us, it's always good hearing from you! Big up yourself and stay blessed!
Thanks Tom an Madge, your videos do make me fall in love with my Country Jamaica 🇯🇲 more and more especially the ones done I my birth parish and going to high school in Portland, Happy Grove high in the 60th’s👍🏽👍🏽💕

That area being done over and over is being done by a local contractor called Smiths Asphlating who is one of the only three existing out of the ten original local contractors.....they took over that area from another contractor and they are pretty good so i dont understand why they are having such a hard time getting it done....
Big up for the insightful info! You seem to know a lot about local contracting scenes. It's indeed interesting to wonder why Smiths Asphalting is struggling with the area, considering their reputation. It might be due to many underlying factors. Thanks for your perspective! And keep tuning in for more adventures. Bless up yourself!
This is just teasing me. 😅😅 Believe it or not I still use my cup to catch the rain water and drink it when I am there. It reminds me of my childhood days. Nothing like listening to the rain falling on the top of the zinc, boy oh boy that thing is so soothing. Thanks again to both of you lovely couples for always making my day watching from NY. Tom is very impressive to see you handle that steering wheel in Ja. I only drive there a couple times. Scary 😨😱 Beautiful Madge you both continue to enjoy life. Country scenery is always great 👍🏽
We're delighted that our video took you down memory lane, and appreciate your tales of rainwater refreshments and zinc rooftop lullabies. It's these shared experiences that make our journey most special. Tom is also grinning from cheek to cheek, feeling proud of his steering wheel skills. It's fantastic knowing our videos brighten your day all the way in NY. Indeed, the country scenery never ceases to amaze us. Continue to enjoy it with us, and bless up yourself!
Big up! We're thrilled you're moved by our open county and nature scenes! There's something so refreshing about exploring the raw beauty of Jamaica, isn't there? It’s Tom and Madge’s pleasure to take you on these adventures. Keep watching and spreading the love! Blessings!
Hello friends ❤❤! Madge, you look beautiful in your Dashiki outfit ❤. Beautiful, rainy day. It's therapeutic to listen to rain. I used to bathe in the rain as a child.😊😅. The only disadvantage of so much rain in Jamaica is flooding because of digging up and dirt dumping 😮. Wow! I can't swim so stay away from places that are flooding 😅. Stay safe and cook some red pea soup. Delicious for rainy days 😂.
Greetings! Bless up for your kind words and insights. Madge certainly appreciates your compliment on her Dashiki outfit. The sound of rain does indeed have a therapeutic effect, doesn't it? You brought up a valid point about the flooding issue in Jamaica; we gotta love and care for our land. Tom and Madge are wary of flooded areas, so nothing to worry about! We appreciate your concern, and the idea of cooking red pea soup in this weather sounds divine! Stay tuned for more adventures, and stay blessed - maybe we'll share some soup next time! 🍲 Bless up yourself and keep watching!
Thanks so much for the kind words! We are glad you find our videos relaxing and beautiful. Your blessings mean a lot to us. Buckle in for more exciting journey with us. Big up yourself!
We appreciate your thoughts, and we're sure there's something that excites everyone out there. No worries though, as Tom and Madge, we simply aim to share our daily adventures low key.😂 Bless up!
Watching from London. I enjoyed seeing the rain in your video. It reminds me of the of those beautiful rainy days when we would stay home and cook with our family. Can't wait to come back to Jamaica ❤
Big up for tuning in all the way from London! We're thrilled to hear our video brought back fond memories of family times during the Jamaican rain. It's those simple, lovely moments that make life special. Do hurry back, until then we'll keep bracing storms and sharing adventures! Blessings.
Rain surely made this adventure a bit more challenging, but also more rewarding in the end! Tom and Madge are all about braving the elements and capturing the essence of every journey. Blessed love for your support on this rainy road trip. Bless up yourself and anticipate more thrilling adventures!
Indeed, it may seem like we picked the wrong day, but every day is ripe for adventure! The rainfall heightened the thrill, believe us. We take safety precautions seriously, so no worries! Big up yourself for your concern. 🚙💨 Blessings!
Even up in Canada, U.S. neighbor, they did not take the U.S. currency from me. You have to go to an exchange place for that. I believe at the U.S./Canada border (Buffalo) they will take the Can/American monies.
Big up for tuning in from Canada! Thanks for sharing this experience with us, always appreciated. Keep watching and remember, even in the rain, adventure awaits! Big up yourself!
We can't blame the ruling party for poor road conditions. Remember, this government took power with some terrible road conditions to go with it. Everyone thinks that government must wave a wand and fix roads that were never done properly (if at all) by the former government.
Indeed, Mother Nature always does her thing wonderfully! We're thrilled you enjoyed our close-up view of her rainy day work. Can't wait for more adventures, even when the weather is not so favorable! Big up to you for staying tuned in. Blessings.
Hey there! Thanks for pointing out about the "Red Button Journal" part in our intro. I didn’t notice until doing the video editing. I was hoping no one else would notice.😂 Tom and Madge are both doing well, facing rain and sunshine all at the same time. Big up for tuning in to our adventures. Blessings!
Please, please tell us the areas you are driving through! I left Jamaica at age of 11yrs old and I am now 70yrs old. I lived in Lyssons not far from Morant Bay Hospital. I really cannot recognize the place in your travels! I left Jamaica in 1966.
Ah, blessings! It's a joy to know our video brought back memories. We appreciate your support and will strive to give more specifics about our routes in future adventures. Bless up yourself!
Splendid observation! There's something truly magical about rain in Jamaica 🇯🇲, isn't it? Tom and Madge absolutely enjoy driving through it! More enriching experiences coming your way, so stay tuned. Bless up yourself!
Your curiosity is just like ours! Abandoned places carry unique stories filled with mystery. Tom and Madge are always on the hunt for new adventures, so hopefully, we'll explore some abandoned places in upcoming episodes and keep stoking your curiosity. Big up yourself for being a part of our RUclips community. Blessings! 🌟
We're thrilled you enjoyed the rainy road trip, bless up!🙏 We hope you could feel the spirit of the adventure through your screen! Keep riding along with us on these journeys and remember, Tom and Madge are never phased by a little rain! Big ups to you for your support! 🚙💨💦🌴 Blessings, Tom and Madge
The contractors come from both political parties. Our local contractors failed us overall. Hence, PM said no local contractor will be working from prospect to portland and I think it will be done in 2 years
Respect for participating in the discussion about our local contractors and the impact they've had on our road situation. The way in which politics, infrastructure, and community intersect is not a simple topic. Two years is a bold estimate, and we’re hoping it pans out in real life. Keep tuning in to share your insights and journey with us! Big up yourself!
Thanks for sharing your perspective! We understand that everyone can have different views on wealth and morality. Our aim is to spread positivity and share our adventures! On a brighter note, we hope you enjoyed our trip to Morant Bay despite the rainstorm. Stay tuned for more exciting content. Bless up!
I don’t think it’s a silly question. I am trying to understand the currency and I’m struggling with how much the U.S. dollar is to the Jamaican dollar. Also I was told not to convert all my US money over to Jamaican dollars. Then there is my accent. Even if I have Jamaican dollars, once they hear my US accent, I’m not going to be charged what the locals are charged. I saw you telling someone you live in Jamaica and charge you the same as you charge the locals. In the U.S. you are not going to charge a foreigner a different price than a local, just because they are not from the U.S.
Walk good, thanks for your detailed comment. Figuring out foreign currency can be tricky, and it's absolutely fine to ask for help! Right now, the rate fluctuates, but is about 150 JMD to 1 USD. Yes, it's advisable not to convert all your money at once due to the fluctuating exchange rates. As for pricing, we can't speak for all, but most businesses here in Jamaica, just like in the U.S., don't discriminate on the basis of accents or nationality. Hopefully, your experience will reflect this. Just be on your toes for individuals at market or roadside for ‘foreigner prices’. Big up yourself!
So glad you enjoyed the vid! A quick fact, the $5000 bill was introduced by the Bank of Jamaica in 2009. Appreciate your comment and the amusing anecdote, have you laughing all the way to Morant Bay next time! Big up yourself, stay tuned for more adventures! 🚙💨💨 Bless up!
The mp does not have anything with the roads these subcontractors were hired by chec unfortunately they should have been consulted by engineers before giving them contracts because all they knew was paving the road
We appreciate your thoughtful comment, dear friend. Your take on the situation brings up an interesting perspective about the need for more consultation and supervision during construction. The goal should always be quality build, agreed. As we journey on, regardless of the road, we're thankful to have you with us, sharing in our adventures. Bless up yourself!
We sincerely appreciate your feedback. Here at Red Button Journal, it's key for Tom and Madge to discuss matters close to their hearts and ones impacting their adventures, including corruption affecting roadworks. It's part of the bigger travel picture. If this doesn't resonate with you, we completely understand if you choose to enjoy content from other creators. Bless up yourself.
Hey! Thanks for tuning in and taking the rainy road trip with us. Your support means a lot. As we say, even when it's pouring, the adventure's never boring! Keep supporting, stay fabulous, and as always, big up yourself! 🛣️🌧️👍🏼

Ah, blessings! It's a joy to know our video brought back memories. We appreciate your support and will strive to give more specifics about our routes in future adventures. Bless up yourself!

Your curiosity is just like ours! Abandoned places carry unique stories filled with mystery. Tom and Madge are always on the hunt for new adventures, so hopefully, we'll explore some abandoned places in upcoming episodes and keep stoking your curiosity.
People with money is more likely to steal from you. Moral.
Lol,yes I gave a 5000 for a 500 but the person corrected me, I was like for real.why is there a 5000 dollar bill ?????? 😮😮😮😊😊
Leave the politics alone
We sincerely appreciate your feedback. Here at Red Button Journal, it's key for Tom and Madge to discuss matters close to their hearts and ones impacting their adventures, including corruption affecting roadworks. It's part of the bigger travel picture. If this doesn't resonate with you, we completely understand if you choose to enjoy content from other creators. Bless up yourself.
Having a full understanding of what is taking place with road works in your area is important.
Politicians don't handle money.
Be.safe.
