It’s because Rob kept implying that Mysterio was the villain and they didn’t want to admit it.
With a number of these actors, one cannot be a fanboy with them over a journalist. Sam in particular is a fan, but probably is NOT a fanboy, so it's more than likely better to be a journalist than fanboy to fanboy.
How great would it be if that was in SpiderMan 3 lol, and honestly I can see that being where the Xmen and FF4 come into play is in Earth 616

He got his hands on a Sony contact. I'm hoping that he'll be able to get a Disney contact as well. He's the biggest Marvel fan out there so his questions aren't just the normal "so how was it filming in London" blah blah stuff. So hopefully the success of these interviews (with the amount of views they get it's objectively true that interviews with Rob reach a bigger audience than 99% of the other junket interviews) will get Marvel's attention and they'll allow him to interview actors for every MCU movie from here on out.

I'd be more starstruck by Mace Windu personally.
He was clearly nervous which lead to awkward moments. However he also showed a lot of potential by getting some genuine answers and joking around from them. Might have been too much diving him into Samuel L and Jake Gyllenhaal so quickly as the star struck factor was there but I can see why he's getting the chance. Hoping for the best going forward.

Rob realizing WAY too late that he didn’t come prepared with questions.
For someone with the crazy knowledge he has, the questions kinda fall dont they? It's still the start of his jorney in this so its all good.
I thought the same. Kind of a cringe worthy interview. Still, I know I couldn't do any better and I'm proud Rob made it to this point.
Sometimes even being prepared goes out the window once you're thrown into the fire. I've been in the situation that I thought I had an amazing layout but made the mistake of having expectations on how it would play out. So once I was in the moment, I got nervous, second guessed everything, & abandoned all of my material because what I thought was "awesome" a minute ago suddenly looked like hot garbage! Lol
Ultimately he did great & the only way to improve is to practice. In this case you can really only practice by doing the real thing.
Interviews help when the actors help with the interview as they are selling a movie maybe the actors could understand comics more
I get it. He’s new and learning. But he is experienced enough in watching these that they can’t comment on future projects (much).
Perhaps he should focus on asking questions about their craft and whether X or Y informed their portrayal he can spend a week identifying three really good questions, and maybe then he’ll get quoted as a source in other outlets.
