I'm not really into reaction videos, but in the past week or so, I went down a rabbit hole and checked BAND-MAID reactions by dozens of RUclipsrs, because seeing the surprise and amazement at these improbable super-talents just doesn't get old. Part of it is re-living my own amazement at discovering them. This happened a few days after Christmas 2019, when I already discovered Ningen Isu, and found a video in which the latter's lead guitarist did a mock guitar battle with Kanami of BAND-MAID, and she alone without the band already blew me away completely. But what I enjoy most is reactions of macho metalheads like you: there is always a moment (usually at a guitar solo) when the initial dismissal just melts away, to be replaced by total amazement, developing into full-on devotion after a few videos. So you can only watch it in those reaction videos... It's not a "serious" guitar battle but typical Japanese TV silliness, but the two guitarists clearly enjoyed themselves riffing away.
Nice Reaction as always. This is one of my favorite songs along with YOLO, DOMINATION & NON-FICTION DAYS. One always forget about KANAMI's Guitar skills and fills / Riffs which i believe structures every song with a Great Bass and Drums from Misa & Akane. This is one BAND that has awed me to the level when i first Heard Metallica's Master of Puppets & Ride the Lightning in the 80's and Nirvana's Nevermind in 1990. 🙌🤟👍

Well, they're the best hard rock band out there...or ever been! In this one you can hear that Saiki's voice were tired, but she worked hard and pulled it through. What an amazing band this is!

I'll be checking back again soon hopefully they will get restocked. Hopefully these ladies will revitalize Rock again. Can't get enough Band-Maid.

I played guitar throughout high school and college... most bands I played with always wanted to do covers and it was hard to push other musicians to write music or take a chance. I lost my desire to play or even go to concerts in my mid 20s. I had not picked up my guitar in almost 7 years. I started listening to Band-Maid and they renewed my desire to play for some reason. They are very inspiring.
Listen to the song a few more times until you get to the point where you can pull your attention away from the bass and guitar, have a listen to what Akane is doing on the drums while the other two are killing it .... It's a whole other lesson in how to 'quietly' kill it ... It should make you really cry!! ;-)
