    Shocked that your channel doesn't have more views/subs. Your videos are huge help for me as a coach newer to the world of diving. Total hidden gem!

      I appreciate that so much! Just started in 2023. A lot of growth ahead. Just trying to get consistent with uploads. The channel grows more and more every day and I’m super grateful for all the positive feedback.

      I believe in you!! I know you can do it. It’s just about letting the momentum carry your hands back up to the top of the circle. It makes a huge difference!

    Love the videos could you ever do a video on 107c having trouble with that dive

    • @thediverguy
      @thediverguy  9 месяцев назад

      Yes I definitely will. I can’t make any promises on when though. For now, have you seen my 105c video? You might benefit from seeing that especially the last few because I talk a bit about how it transitions to 107

      @@thediverguy I’ll check it out I also have a another question do you think a transition from regular tuck to cowboy would help me out with that?

    • @thediverguy
      @thediverguy  9 месяцев назад

      Not necessarily. I think it depends on what your issue is with the dive. I like a small split but when you cowboy too hard it doesn’t look great in the air. Shoulder width is usually good enough.

    Can you do a video about overcoming mental blocks

    • @thediverguy
      @thediverguy  9 месяцев назад

      That is a great topic for a video. I will figure out a way to talk about it. It’s a tricky topic because everybody’s psychology is a little bit different when it comes to these things. I’ll do my best.

    This really helped because im learning this for practice next week, but I was also wondering if you have any tips on how to get a good front double??

    • @thediverguy
      @thediverguy  9 месяцев назад +1

      Well there is quite a lot that might go into making you double better. The broad thing that will help the rest of your diving career is really get an understanding of what’s missing from your coach. For example, if they identify height as a weakness,then you should focus a lot more on your board ride. Or if your comeouts are an issue, focusing on confident kicks no matter what or spotting could be the focus you should zero in on.
      A good front double tuck will definitely have an optimal speed that isn’t your maximum throw but it isn’t too soft that you are crunched for time on the out. Finding that balance is super important. I’ll make a video with way more details soon. It’s a tricky one with a somewhat blind entry. Feel free to ask more questions if you need more targeted info.

    Really helpful video, but I was wondering if you had any tips on spotting? I am getting close to 205c on 3m but I can't get a consistent spot making it too inconsistent/reliant on a call.

    • @thediverguy
      @thediverguy  9 месяцев назад

      Spotting can be tricky for sure. I will make a video about it soon. Can you spot water twice in your lead ups?

    • @wooz_yt8393
      @wooz_yt8393 9 месяцев назад

      I can easily spot the board the first time but I can't quite seem to find my spot again the second time. I'll make sure to keep my eyes pealed for the video when it come out!@@thediverguy

    • @thediverguy
      @thediverguy  9 месяцев назад +1

      Work your chin position on take off. If you’re lifting your head too early getting off the board, it tends to make people miss their spots. I talk about it I. This video when you see the one guy looking “into his tuck” it isn’t just for mechanics. It’s also for spotting

    great video as always, a problem that happens to me pretty often is that i start to twist on the entry, i wanna say its because of my head turning without me realizing, or maybe its because my arms come up uneven. any help?🙏

    • @thediverguy
      @thediverguy  9 месяцев назад

      It’s tough to know where the twist is coming from without video. It could be on the start due to arms coming up uneven or pushing through your legs unevenly on the take off. Sometimes on the out people will pull towards one side with their shoulders because they want to see the water over their shoulder rather than over their eyebrows.
      Does it happen on back dive ever? Or your lead ups?
