- Urban photography with mood. Saltaire, a mid 19th century village and my birth place. This morning I was blessed with fog for that added piece of ambience.

That was, I believe, your most complete vlog, James. Lovely images created with light and lines, building mood , woven together to tell such an interesting story of a man who built a community that you obviously so love.

I've spent many hours wandering round Saltaire and Salts Mill whilst waiting for motorbikes to be serviced

Hi James, the last time I was shooting around Saltaire was late evening/night just after rain the cobbles looked great around the train station. A great place to shoot.

Love these type of black and white moody images, very Dickensian but evoke a real sense of history and nostalgia. Have recently discovered your channel and love the approach you take and mix of landscape and urban.

I really enjoyed this video James. Those gritty mono images reminded me of one of the first photographic collections I bought - Shadows of light by Bill Brandt. Some of his urban images really influenced my interest in mono photography. I look forward to more of these photo essays, I think you are really good at them. Thanks.
