Yep we had a few frantic days in dry dock while blacking , with a water cooled ungreased stern gland that developed a leak on the way to the dock.
It was touch and go getting a replacement
before dock time was over coz Collingwood used a completely unknown part on our boat build.
So I would encourage any one with a water cooled one to keep a spare on board and regularly do the greasing.

Hi and thank you 🙏 unfortunately our pipes in the boat are all hidden and boxed in, so we’ve only done the engine room 😁

@@originalpickaxe basically a grease nipple, but it could be detrimental to the seals as it could over pressurise them!
Hi, the hot water tank jacket goes from top to bottom not width ways round.
