Titanium has had it coming for a while now, that slap round was awesome! I'd like to see what the 20mm would do with a similar setup, where the titanium can't move much.
@@prandomable I don't recall seeing one where the titanium couldn't move like in this video though. It may not make a difference but it'd be interesting to see.
@@88Cardey it probably won't make much of a difference maybe just a lil bit I'm thinking. Anyway having it at 90 degree vs at a tilted angle will have a huge difference and he had to redo the .50cal vid on that and it proved the big difference on 90 degree vs tilted angle.
Having worked in the Titanium industry for 40 years, would be really interested in exactly what Titanium alloy and the condition (as rolled, heat treated etc) as there are a huge range of alloys, conditions and heat treatments which can have marked effect on it strength and toughness. Or is it just some "gash" unknown offcut you have obtained? Good content as always. Just a suggestion, it would be safer if both of you edwin and gasphar would wear bullet proof vest for pretection against slugs bouncing back. Because no one knows, when accident is going to happen. Keep safe guys!
I like how this accurately shows each of the rounds penetration, the titanium is a good metal to use and 100% of the energy is used and the aluminum is a soft metal to catch the round, loved the test and the slap proved to be the best, pure tungsten traveling at 4000 ft/sec can go through anything

30-40 yards is well within a 50’s Point Blank Range... the term has an actual definition, and it isn’t “at the muzzle”.

Did anyone else get nervous when he showed the slap round?...
No, because this video was uploaded awhile before KB's incident
I'm sure Scott gets nervous everytime someone says slap
yes
I bought 100pcs of slap 50bmg ....i just pulled bullets out and loaded my own powder charge in them ...so no worries! :)
