Great report. You did exactly the right thing. Don’t second guess yourself. The threat display was to warn you off. Your instincts were perfect in the circumstance. There is nothing more formidable than a parent protecting its young. Yowies are the apex predator of the Aussie bush for many reasons. Give yourself, “ a pat on the back.”
There is a nine part series on RUclips called 'Speaking of Sasquatch', not sure if USA or Canada (both countries have hundreds of sighting per year). One lady on this series who was a type of medium, now deceased, was able to communicate with some of them telepathetically, the friendly types, move into their zone of awareness and they let her. And they said that the main thing holding humans back from becoming far more than they are currently, is fear. So in this case I am wondering if this fellow who had accidentally stumbled upon a juvenile and its older brother/parent/relative and surprised them, had shown no fear and shown them friendliness rather than panic and flight, what would have happened. The Sasquatch /Yowie are well aware of how dangerous and deadly humans can be, so it's an interesting rhetorical question. But many cases are documented where people have become used to them and vice versa and exchange food and gifts. No need to reply as I don't get comments sent to my email.

I still don’t understand why big ape like animals in the woods is such a crazy thing to believe or see. If you put the known science aside, is it so crazy?
even considering the known science. Just the fact that there is such widespread knowledge of them in aboriginal folklore mixed with the vast, impenetrable forests all around this country where barely anybody has ever even gone I think its stupid to think its a crazy idea. It's only crazy cos its scary i suppose because people don't want it to be real. I'd say anybody considering those facts and posed the question 'if it's just aboriginal myth then where at all the bunyip sightings' would be a fool to dismiss it as crazy
When you see one you wish they didn't exist, it's not like seeing a massive primate at all, they've got an otherworldly set of physical characteristics. They're completely unnatural for one, as in way, way over engineered for their environment, the scary thing is nothing has a chance against them and they're potential for wreaking hyperviolence at their discretion is the worst part.

We live 20mins drive from this spot. We do a lot of bushwalking and decided to go to moggil conservation park for a mod morning bush walk. My boys like to walk up creek beds. We walked about 100m up a creek bed and saw several small rock cairns. Thought nothing of it as I then had no idea about Yowies. We kept walking up the creek bed and the vibe changed. It’s exactly how everyone describes it. The bush goes silent and eiree no birds or movement. You feel as though you should not be there. I know this sounds weird but I felt like we were about to be ambushed or something similar. The boys started getting a bit toey. As I did! All of a sudden my oldest son, he is 9, just turns back and starts running out of the creek back the way we came, we followed suit. He was so distressed and spooked that he rolled his ankle near the bush track that crossed the creek. Since discovering this website/YT page I feel really bad for putting them in that situation. Anyone that’s wants to see a Yowie you only have to go to Louth in NSW out back along the darling there’s 2 that live in that area We’ve been pig hunting around there many times and seen em on numerous occasions
It is quite surprising that this fellow came up on these Yowies so close and surprised them - as this is very unusual. The Yowie /Sasquatch, whatever name you attach to these hominids, are extremely in tune with their surroundings and normally will know of another presence miles before you are close enough to see them first. Or other ones of their group will signal of any intruders as well. So these two must have been really tuned out at that time! Also the description that he gives is perfectly in line with other accounts in other countries: no neck, the type of hair and colour, very wide shoulders and the extremely loud, deep resonating sound or growl.
" gorillary " 15:44 - a great new adjective to describe a large Yowie! It was " gorillary ". Too much Yowiehunters is never sufficient, grossly inadequate & nowhere near enough! Also 19:40 " lifechanging " is exactly what my experiences can be described as. I know 100% Yowies are real.
Listening to a bunch of these stories I get the impression that Yowies are a bit more on the aggressive side than North American Bigfoot. The number of stories of Yowies letting out aggressive growl/roars to scare people away instead of running away immediately seems to be much higher.
It is so refreshing to see an audio offering that has had effort put into it to keep the viewer enthralled; in this case, maps, scenes and animation and many other interesting things. When the big fella is out with the kids and you happen to bump into them, he has to put on the big show especially so if it's the kids first encounter with one of us. It does make you wonder about the possibility of these sighting being paranormal. Some of the ecounters seem to indicate supernatural or astounding feats, beyond explanation. And it is at this point I realise how awesome lock downs would have been for these beings.
Its probably a good thing you didn’t have the mind to sneak up on the little one 😂. People don’t understand these creatures are not easy to almost impossible to sneak up on. They are almost never alone. You might of had a even worse encounter.trying to sneak up on a small one No telling what would of happened to you. Maybe a missing 411 statistic
why does the voice change at the 4:55 mark? what the heck? that aint the same guy talking
Well spotted! I interviewed the eyewitness over two phone calls. The difference is due to different background noises at the time of each call. Definitely the same guy. Dean edited the two calls together for the audio report.

@@YowieSightings haha ok cool, thanks for clearing thats up
Why arent yowie more in the mainstream with crews trying to locate them and make a documentary
The Yowie 😳
Sounds Iike goldilocks and the 3 bears....
Sometimes the sweet Lord permits these sightings to occur so people are reminded demons exist and there is a Hell after death
It does make you wonder about the possibility of these sighting being paranormal. Some of the ecounters seem to indicate supernatural or astounding feats, beyond explanation. When I consider the description of the offspring of fallen angels in Genesis 6, it does make you think about what these creatures might actually be.
Blessings and kindest regards David from Australia.
