Excited by the cool pool cleaner tech, but man, those prices. I feel even more fortunate that you steered me (via your vids) to a Seauto Seal SE back when it was only $350+. BTW, we've had trouble keeping our chemicals balanced the past couple of years, so wireless floating monitors are appealing, but I've wondered about the accuracy and longevity. You use one?
The good news is that flagship prices are usually just to justify R&D and get a feel for what the market will tolerate. I expect we'll see more budget friendly models start popping up more regularly. However, the big companies (Polaris and Dolphin) have been applying the "pool tax" for decades, and I'm pretty sure that desire to keep the premium price tag is what killed Seauto. It's no surprise that when Dolphin licensed the Seauto Seal to sell as the Dolphin Niya the price doubled. I haven't used any of the floating monitors yet.
Just fire the pool guy that costs $200 a month and and subtract chemical costs from that and then whatever is left subtract monthly from the robot cost. You'll get your ROI somewhat quickly. $3000 though is over 2 years approaching 3 and some of these things are lucky to last that long.
I don't even have a house but i live watching your videos
Great job! Your videos are always so high quality and interesting! 💕😚
THe sonar click communication retranslator station sounds so cool.
cant wait for the robotic lawnmower vid
Looking forward to the robot lawn mower test!
Nice as always! Was hopeful that we could get a glimpse of the Dreame A2 mower.
I don't recall seeing the A2 at the Dreame booth.
Did you miss the MOVA mower?
Great video as always. Are any of these devices made in the USA?
Would love to see a robotic lawnmower compare from you. They're getting good but the differences are confusing.
That's planned for 2025, probably around May.
Any chance you'll be testing the s3? I know 3k is a bit pricey

@@TheHookUp I wasn't aware of the Dolphin/Seauto relationship, but that explains the $ bump.
