@8eight104 Thank you:) Yes, I'm sure too. Like Resident Evil and Silent Hill. It's with this kind of demake that you can see the essence of a game like this. Graphics or not, it's almost the same gameplay wise. Add the lore to this and bam, you have a masterpiece.

I love this whole demake thing. It's a fantastic comparison and seeing people make things work while staying as close as possible to the old jankiness of days gone by is really cool.
Yeah, totally agree I'm mean, it's a good exercise to see if your game is engaging. I recently tested some new games, except the top notch graphics nowdays, the gameplay was basic and mild... Edit : Love your name, kinda funny x)

Definitely entertaining to see it rendered this way, but without the sound profile of the original (or remake) it loses so much atmosphere. The necromorphs aren't doing that blood curdling scream they usually do when they appear, and so much of the ambient sounds that increase general anxiety while playing seem to be absent. That all said, i find this very charming. Thanks for sharing
Very sharp and low poly indeed. But I mean, Final Fanatsy Crystal Chronicles or Dragon Quest 9 got better graphics than this Do you have an example on the nds ?
As someone who regularly plays both ps1 and ds games I gotta say they are pretty similar the whole selling point of the ds is that it was a N64 on the go same with the psp and ps1 and they are pretty similar in terms of graphic level as the ds was a portable device and Nintendos home consoles have always been weaker than PlayStations.

It's a cool fan project and exercise of thinking what the PS1/PSOne version could be. But, the draw distance is all wrong, and it should be way more darker than what we saw in the gameplay. ⭐⭐⭐⭐
After playing the Dead Space serie, Issac moved from paralyzed Space engineer to very angry Space Marine. In the end he's more annoyed by necromorph than scared

I am 33 years old. I remember going to my friend's house and playing this. The remake was pretty good too!

I prefer old graphics. Makes it feel like a game. And feels right. New graphics are lame
