    what does "exponent of a constant" mean?

      If this isn’t a troll, an exponent of a constant is the power of a number that won’t changes regardless of any other change in value. You can see it as if you get 100% (all of the questions) of your questions correct in every test, and the highest score is 100 you get a 100. But if you switch schools, and your new school uses 1-5 points as a grading system; you will get a 5. This is because 100% is a constant= a number that won’t change, and the points in each school (100 or 5 ) are variables as in, they can change. Sometimes people want to check how much we understand this so they would say something like:
      If you get 5 out of 5 on your test how much did you get in terms of this equation? Y=(10)^x. Since five out five is all the answers or 100% you would have to find which value of x makes 10 a 100. Since we know 10 to the 10th power is 100 the exponent of this constant would be 10.
