Im using elite 2 controller as well. Best ergonomics and paddle layout for a controller but too many manufacturing defects. Iv had 5 elite controllers because of issues. But nothing can replace it.
try using a scuf xbox contoller they last longer but definitly pretty costly

When I didnt have elite series 2 controller I used the bumpers as trigger and would reccomend

it's only for special devices, Xbox series S doesn't have gyro
