I put a couple of things from Rehab Deb's wishlist in my Amazon cart, but when I tried to check out, the system wanted me to choose an address from my own address list. I couldn't send it to Deb.
I have said it before but I'll say it again , you ought to write a children's book!
I want Chunk the Groundhog slot machines at Delaware Park and split the profits with animal rescues.

Awe thank you for the update on our precious Snacks, I think about him all the time and just love that little boy, broke my heart when his teeth had to be removed and would never return to Chunkland but knowing he’s in a safe environment and being loved and taken such good care of by Rehab Deb and Dr Chris makes me very happy. This 70 year old is so grateful and bless you too for taking the action you did to save his life. I just look forward to all your videos, brings me much happiness. Love you Snacks.🙏🏻❤️

Thank you so much for not giving up on Snacks! The Wildlife Rehab Center I volunteered for put a baby bunny down for the same problem. I couldn't handle it and stopped helping out at that facility because I believe every beautiful, precious, and perfectly imperfect animal deserves a chance. (I rescue special-needs domestic pets, too.) Snacks is beyond adorable and definitely deserves all the love and care he's receiving. I wish him and all his rehab buddies the best! Love you, Snacks! 💜
There is no need to put down an animal with this issue. A vet can cut the teeth to size. My vet did that for my guinea pig years ago
@@lauraharmour That's exactly how I felt. My first special-needs bunny's teeth had to be trimmed regularly, too, after one had to be extracted. I understood that a wild bun couldn't be released back into the wild if it required regular trimmings, but there are always other options.

Without your intervention, Snacks would inevitably have died a horrible, long, drawn out death from starvation. It really doesn't bear thinking about - nature can be cruel. But because you recognised Snacks' predicament and stepped in, he's now living a happy, healthy life as a looked-after and beloved animal.
If Snacks' Mom & Dad Chunk and Nibbles could understand, I know they'd give you the biggest, and most heartfelt, chunky-hugs! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

I had a pet rabbit growing up, his bottom teeth would do that. I remember holding him going to the vet where, he'd file them down!

Snacks is living a great life! You could have put him down. Instead you fixed the problem and gave him up to a good safe home!
Why would he be out down? I have had groundhogs that need help occasionally. One had the teeth issues and I actually got a rough strong nail file and made a game out of filing his teeth. It worked well and she was fine as long as I was able to do her teeth a few times per summer. Snax seemed calm enough that he could be tricked into having a file used disguise it as a carrot and file quickly, then replace it with a real carrot when teeth are completed).
This is such a beautiful story. I remember watching poor Snacks during those early years of his life and trying to adjust with those teeth. You all did such a great job caring for him. I love the kindness and care he has received and continues too. Sweet Snack baby living his best life. Rehab Deb is a good animal samaritan
