Needs a LOT of work. If there was a game that actually let you spent the majority of the time building and not have to distract with pan washing and hunting for scraps and didn't deplete energy so quickly with nothing to replenish with but beer...
Makes me think of house flipper but with more of a story and in depth mechanics, if it isn't as trollish as My Summer Car it definitely looks interesting. Hope you plan on making this a series
For the foundation I use 1 cement, 2 sand and 4 of the other thing (can’t remember what it is called) and 12.5 liters of water. It gives you standard concrete instead of weak
I may have to invest in this, a real my summer car feel (be nice to see msc videos again) how about happy renting as an ending? Since you are a landlord
"I bet you are.. Starred in some videos lately 'ave ya?" I literally lol'ed at that! This looks like it will be worth a good few laughs, I hope you keep playing it XD
This is wild. Reminds me of a crazy child of House Flipper and My Summer Car. The setting makes it great. Dogs and weird banging randomly is kinda annoying, though.
My Lord, being as we both speak "english", I am very grateful for the translation from English to American! Seriously appreciate the help and like and sub earned sir!
You have no idea how badly I wanted you to make a video of this or stream it on Twitch. I haven't even watched the video yet, I'm just happy you decided to play this!
@@MidnightArctic Yeah, even mentioning MSC during a Twitch stream gets an automatic bot response telling you to not mention it. He's truly done with the game, it seems. Now that the dev has confirmed he's working on My Winter Car, I'm hoping Squirrel will give that one a shot whenever it comes out.
this is a really good game (if you're into this types) and its puplish by the Yogscast (which im sure many know who that is) and the Dev is the Dev from jalopy
Totters scrap merchant - that's a play on the word "totting" which really isn't used any more but basically it means to go diving into scrap piles to salvage usable stuff (kinda like real world wombles).
My summer scraps lol, this is epic and with your commentary this is gonna be hilarious so will definitely be looking forward to seeing the next episode :)
If I am not mistaken the only thing that question about immigration documents affects in the game is the player avatars skin tone. Displaced persons appear to a reference to the many people displaced from occupied Europe during World War II that managed to escape to Britain so the game gives your avatar a lighter skin tone. Whereas HMT Windrush refers to the first of several troopships that were used to ferry immigrants in from the colonies to fill the huge demand for labour in Britain as there was rather a lot of infrastructure that needed rebuilding. The game gives your avatar a darker skin tone if you choose that one. No idea if it will come up in any other ways later in the game but that was the only change I noticed.
Ive been waiting soo long for you to play this, on a side note, will you ever be selling the squirrel hats again I lost mine last year and miss it dearly.
Partially related. Can't remember if you played it or not but this game is made by the same people who made Jalopy. Which funnily enough is a game where you build and upgrade a car.
Oi! Your video just made me buy the game and now I’m addicted. You have to complete the house in full, it just needs to happen! Lookin forward to more videos gov! Cheers!
It’s my favourite game to watch, would love you to do a series on this, sick of American gamers playing it they don’t understand the English accents and it annoys me
So, that "S" drawn on the notebook cover was a thing in the UK too. Not sure why it was over here in the US, but most people listening to rock and metal drew it on notebooks and folders in the late 80's and 90's.
There is a guy, David Wångstedt, who spent over 5 years researching where the universal S came from and found that it was recognized by individuals from nations all over the world, and some of the comments he found even claimed to have seen the S as far back as 1940.
I’ve just purchased this game it’s brilliant I can’t find a way to drive yet it’s like my summer car And house Build simulators it’s got British classic Characteristics
Hey Paul glad your playing this game. Learn alot from you and your side of the pound. Happy renting sounds nice. Keep it up. You play like your actually there in real life. Love it.
''Blimey !''. "Oi !''
We are in Squirrel territory. :)) It's his home turf.
It feels like a cross between house flipper and my summer car and I’m liking it
Exactly what I was thinking!!!
I would say definitely do a full series on this one. As a non-native English speaker I really liked the explanations.
I realy like this video, explaining the english slang is very usefull for us non native english speakers. Keep it up!
It's good to see you back! Edit: I'm actually feeling this game. Seems to have some potential!
The king of the nut house is back
Needs a LOT of work. If there was a game that actually let you spent the majority of the time building and not have to distract with pan washing and hunting for scraps and didn't deplete energy so quickly with nothing to replenish with but beer...
I feel like the sign off phrase for this game should be "Happy Scheming". Can't wait for the next episode!
Oh, this shows promise. Your My Summer Car series was some of the best content on all of YT.
been playing this game since release. really glad to see they’re finally getting more into tenants and furnishing. can’t wait for it to be finished.
Makes me think of house flipper but with more of a story and in depth mechanics, if it isn't as trollish as My Summer Car it definitely looks interesting. Hope you plan on making this a series
The details in this are really incredible, down to that wooden fence you used to see all round the council buildings
Really looking forward to this play through. I’ve been waiting on this game to have more content before I get it.
Always enjoy seeing these kinds of games pop up
What I really like about this game is how lively the environment is with all those people to talk to, cars driving around and stuff to do.
never heard of this game before. Looks great anyway, can't wait for the next video on this game
so this is basically a rural english version of my summer car, in a way. definitely has a lot of potential to be a fun game
Britain in the 80s: This place... is coming like a ghost town!
you missed the "ahhh ah" ;)
For the foundation I use 1 cement, 2 sand and 4 of the other thing (can’t remember what it is called) and 12.5 liters of water. It gives you standard concrete instead of weak
...are you thinking of aggregate...?
@@kimvibk9242 yea
For strong concrete, use 20 litres of water instead of 12.5 litres.
Loved it! Especially the trolling of Winston XD really reminds me of the OG my summer car videos, looking forward to more
This looks like fun. More please
You are one of my favorite channels. Audio is always on point. Very easy to unwind and forget about the days worries.
Thank you for releasing this video. I wish we could see some more my summer car .
I may have to invest in this, a real my summer car feel (be nice to see msc videos again) how about happy renting as an ending? Since you are a landlord

This game is very awsome feels like watching a old movie
Coming back to this series. Was great
That pubs the jockey from shameless lol
My Lord, being as we both speak "english", I am very grateful for the translation from English to American! Seriously appreciate the help and like and sub earned sir!
That was so funny! Can't wait for more episodes.
Great to have you back Paul, I love the look of this game, can't wait for the next episode xD
You have no idea how badly I wanted you to make a video of this or stream it on Twitch. I haven't even watched the video yet, I'm just happy you decided to play this!
I was born in the 80s and this game is up my street gotta get this game
Haha. So funny. I was a teenager in Harlow, Essex in the 80's. Love it :)
Really enjoyed this first episode, looking forward to some more :)
We have skips in the USA too there usually just called Dumpsters but Roll off Containers are more common and safer and easier to load and unload.
MinskWorks that same developer from Jalopy?
Really good to see those guy make another game again.
Hi Squirrel i love this video but i was also wondering if you could go back to My summer car and finish it please i really enjoyed the series.
Video released: 45 minutes ago
Your comment: 41 minutes ago
Video length: 32 minutes long
“I love this video”
Hmmmm
Probably not, he's said on stream he just doesn't enjoy it anymore.
And so many people have bugged him to play it he's just tired of hearing about it.
@@MidnightArctic Alright thanks for telling me that bro.

If and when MSC 1.0 releases I will consider another playthrough
Really reminding us of My Summer Car! 🤩

I like these random games you play squirrel. Always have.

This game reminds me totally of the ZX Spectrum game ‘Minder’ where Arthur had to do deals and get cash 💰
Being American, I had to look up Giz'a Job Maggie. Now I'm finishing up the first episode of Boys from the Black Stuff. Thanks Squirrel!
Ive been waiting soo long for you to play this, on a side note, will you ever be selling the squirrel hats again I lost mine last year and miss it dearly.
I would if I could, but it's a logistical problem I'm afraid
Partially related. Can't remember if you played it or not but this game is made by the same people who made Jalopy. Which funnily enough is a game where you build and upgrade a car.
We still have the scrap men coming round our end. They never used to come for a really long time, but for a few years now they came back.

I love this game already! So much character about it.

Love how Totter is a geordie

"Oh, just nothing but a dribble..." 🤣
Reminds me of the Harry Enfield characters from Liverpool...eh.eh.eh. All perms and shellsuits.
I can't wait to see more of this. For some reason, I was unsubscribed from your channel.
M&Sons, H. Abiff... that's an oddly subtle reference popped in there.
Those pesky Masons are everywhere!!!
You 100% need to play Snowrunner again, loved the series
He was live streaming it yesterday! Check his Squirrel Plus channel!
Can't wait for the job where you get to unclog Tamsin's pipes.
I'm loving this already..
I can't wait for episode 2
I really enjoyed this. Please make more episodes!
I’ve just purchased this game it’s brilliant I can’t find a way to drive yet it’s like my summer car And house Build simulators it’s got British classic Characteristics
I love the way the characters talk in this game it reminds me of Animal Crossing or the Sims 🤣
There's a "cool s" in the notebook at 5:38. Interesting detail
This looks cool
Nice Jalopy reference 28:36
Digital phones came out around 1968 in the USA.
Hey Paul glad your playing this game. Learn alot from you and your side of the pound. Happy renting sounds nice. Keep it up. You play like your actually there in real life. Love it.
More of this!
"Now bowels is I assume you need to urinate or something" I think, Squirrel, we may need to have a chat about biology..... :P
Is a skip also a location where you drop your trash? What we in the US would call a dump. That seemed to be the case in Summer Car.
I think this could be a great streaming game
HE HAS RETURNED!
Looks lovely 👍
Aye aye aye aye aye 😆
Is the Jim'll Fix It sticker/plate on the wheelbarrow a reference to anything specific, or just add an 80's thing in there?
This seems very good, please do more
Great video, loved it!
You never washed your hands after going for a piss.
how do you wash your hands in the game?
@ craigr98 no bad language please
Loving this already!
Think I'm going to like this one. Kind of SummerCarish.
Happy scousing I guess
Never heard of this game before looks fun

I'm curious where this is going, should be fun!

Lol "West Berklands Metropolitan police" I'm a serving Met officer, and i'll be honest, I thought this was quite amusing.
😂😂 mesen, you really are a southern softy
Its Me Sen. My self lol. Love the videos mate 👍
Thats such a cool game 👍🏻 I would Love to see more!
You only just started playing and they already screwed up one detail. The shower isn't a white Y shaped hose that plugs on the taps.
Why is this so familiar? Didnt we have a this game a few years ago already? (In an early alpha/beta first look kinda way?)
This game isnt new
@@EthanfromEngland- Yeah I had the feeling I've seen it before. Don't get me wrong, i LIKE it, but it felt weirdly familiar deja vu-ish :-)
Are you doing anymore my summer car? I miss that!
anyone else notice the pub is a replica of the jockey from uk shameless lol nice lil touch
I miss the My Summer Car Videos
Thank goodness Joe Lycett started an Uber Eats restaurant in a skip so I already knew what a "skip" was before Squirrel explained it.
License - nope. Licence if set in UK ;)
