I'm currently in the military. 98% of us really want Trump to win and a few of my colleagues have stated that they were previously a democrat, but are now voting republican. It's sad what the current administration has done to the country as well as our military. We're hoping things get better for us and we can get rid of the DEI crap that is constantly being shoved down our throats
The best thing to do is, as soon as some DEI training is given to you about something like white privilege, file a complaint against the people who ordered it and the people giving the training for racist training. Several other complaints on other training can be filed as well. If they don't do anything or retaliate, file lawsuits. Document and openly record everything as well.

I did 20 years in the Marines. I wanted, more than anything, to do 30 years. Since I don't back down on issues like DEI, I had to retire. I couldn't risk losing everything. DEI is cancer in the military.

I was in the military and when I served they didn't even allow homosexuals in the Army, and I was good with that. You have to shower together, and sleep together, and maybe even share a two-man tent together. Just put yourself in a corporate environment where a company sends a 40-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman to a conference and makes them share a one bed hotel room. Would that be okay? So why not the same objection for a straight guy and homosexual guy?
Military member. I was overlooked for promotion, leadership had 3 spots to give, 4 applicable. The other three members check the DEI boxes, I do not. My promotion package was much stronger, I am good at my job, I am the only one who completed college courses, I am the only one who is in charge of a work center, I have twice as many community and base volunteer hours, and yet I lost.

The problem with officers or those in general - with most of them high in rank and have done a number of years in the service, they don’t want to risk their chances in promotions and/or losing opportunities/benefits.

I left 12 years of service due to the DEI. I stayed in for the jab when they were threatening dishonorable discharge but let my contract expire. It has become bull crap with what they push, our commander got in a little heat for not wanting some of the briefings to be given as he was against them himself.

Military member. I was overlooked for promotion, leadership had 3 spots to give, 4 applicable. The other three members check the DEI boxes, I do not. My promotion package was much stronger, I am good at my job, I am the only one who completed college courses, I am the only one who is in charge of a work center, I have twice as many community and base volunteer hours, and yet I lost.

The problem with officers or those in general - with most of them high in rank and have done a number of years in the service, they don’t want to risk their chances in promotions and/or losing opportunities/benefits.

I left 12 years of service due to the DEI. I stayed in for the jab when they were threatening dishonorable discharge but let my contract expire. It has become bull crap with what they push, our commander got in a little heat for not wanting some of the briefings to be given as he was against them himself.
Can confirm from my personal perspective since I retired a couple years ago. If I was still active, I couldn't say that without punishment.

Wussification of the military has been going on for a very long time. I was complaining about it happening in the Marines when I went in late 1990s. I remember politicians on the left complaining about the Marine Corps being particularly offensive toward and very much against gays in the military. He specifically called out the Marines for not being pro homosexual. Can’t remember the a-holes name tho.

I was in the navy 10 yrs back or so and its far worse now from the word of others boot has grown even more soft like each recruit always heard from the older guys. Our son is an E6 in the USN and when we ask him about woke stuff, he always rolls his eyes and then says he can't discuss it. But he admits easily that all the "death by power point" presentations are to tell them a million times how to watch out for toxic masculinity, transphobia, and systemic racism.
Sorry but I think that’s a cop out if he’s saying he can’t discuss it. When I was in, discussed anything that wasn’t actual classified information or that wouldn’t negatively affect operational security. I would ask him where’s the transparency?
