Very nice stitching space! You have a system that works for you and a comfy spot to stitch, which is awesome. Stitching really helps satisfy my borderline OCD, so I am able to let the rest of my life happen imperfectly.

I have a chihuahua who sees my stand come out and gets ready waiting in floor for the blanket to come out...he had gotten used to being smacked in the head by my hoop, but the floor stand had lessened this incident a lot..but even when I swing it around I can feel him tense up like..."here it comes" LoL
awe thanks so much!! we have a spare bedroom. my hobby says i should make it my craft room and put a fold out sofa in there since we rarely have over night company but I am not so sure...i kinda like my corner!!

We try clutter free too, my DH can be a bit...OCD our issue falls in that for him, it just has to be out of the way not necc in the right spot...for me I would rather it be on the counter than in the wrong spot...so we go back and fourth "cleaning" after each other constantly :)
Nice space! Remember to check at Goodwill for cross stitch/embroidery books & pamplets. I have gotten some really nice items there. What kind of forum are you in? You should make some small projects to frame & put on your open shelves.
