Wonderful panel, the real deal. Jules is SO right about it being ironic Trinny is ditching the ones being "all about themselves", as she is herself the epithome of being full of herself. Maybe she does it, so she can be the centre of attention herself..So agree with Juliette, you don't ditch friends because they are downers, then it's not true friendship. You talk with your friends about it, ask if you could do something for them or simply just listen, if they're in need of a listener in a tough period in life.That's what friendship is all about.
I nearly skipped the mental health segment, as such features tend to be trite, I am so glad I watched it. The discussion was frank and refreshing. Juliette Foxx's input, in particular, was lovely. One very distracting thing, however, was the odd grey filter/desaturator used on Louise. Please stop doing that SheerLuxe.
So agree with Juiliette Foxx on the friend topic, I have a friend who constantly upstages what you are wearing by saying she’s going more casual…. But also people can have more than one of those traits. When the camera was on Louise it was quite blurry not sure if that was intentional but it gave an out of focus feel.
What about the people who are chatty or attention seeking or gloomy or in any way inconveniently different: are they not allowed to have friends? They are? But just not ME, because my standards are higher. I am so perfect that I deserve only perfect friends. Let the inadequates pal up with each other - they'll find their people, I don't need to worry about them.
I have started journalling at bedtime and it is cathartic - sort of a precis of your day and helps you make sense of emotions and awareness of how you react to things. You can have a good old moan in a book.
