It should be. It can cause a multitude of problems, including temporary or even permanent damage to vision. Like any hair processing chemicals the one guaranteed issue is damage to the lashes over time. If you already have delicate lashes it's not uncommon to experience lash loss. If you really think it's worth it (though it never is) at the very least get a kit from a reputable brand and grab an eye wash kit to keep handy. If you get the chemicals in your eye, flush them out thoroughly. If the burning doesn't stop or your vision is affected, go see a doctor ASAP. Acting fast is key, and don't think that you're overreacting- you can't replace your eyes.
@@sallyhhsjdjk8077it isn't common but blindness is a definite possibility, which is why lash perms are a dumb risk IMO, especially DIY. Blindness is also only one possible risk, too.
